What I need to know is how to be good at MW2. Seriously everyone else finds a 10 kill streak easy but I can't get 7...
i was the same, you just gotta find a class you like. just experiment

what i used to get my nukes was holographic FAL, javelin (useful if the enemy is in a difficult spot),scavanger, stopping power, ninja and claymores

but i find this stealth business much more rewarding than simply getting killstreaks

Sounds okay by me! But what about urban maps? Must be hard to sneak around in the bushes if there are no bushs

As long as you don't spawn kill in any game that tactic seems alright. Although it looks like that this tactic could end up with you spawn killing intentionally or not.
im sure there must be an inevitable one or two, its something which happens alot in this game as the default spawns arent well placed. thats why ive started using TS, its a good send also if used well it can aid your sneaking considerably

Thanks, I'll try that. I always wondered why the people with outlandish classes did better then generic AR plus Stopping Power.

Your tactic is called Sniping. You are being much more realistic than other people are on the game. Until you fire the Nuke, Then things go weird.

Calumon: How is a knife more powerful than being shot in the heart?

it works surprisingly well on storm, the only advice i can give is stay away from skidrow, invasion and karachi with this class. although invasion has one or two spots towards the rear of the map it just depends on where your opponents go

I understand I have played some of the earlier ones but I avoided MW2 like the plague because I was zealous supporter of the competition and firmly opposed to what they did to it. As long as you don't intentionally spawn kill then your tactic is fine and people just have to live with it.

Nope. It's called Sniping. What you do is what a real-life sniper would.

thank you, so many people on COD call themselves a sniper when they have stopping power instead of coldblood and a thermal instead of a silencer. if you look at the SAS in real-life this is what they do

also the ghillie suit is an added bonus which noone seems to use, in the right spots on every map you can go prone and be almost invisible.

i got the last laugh on one of the griefers, i sneaked up on him got prone and sent a reply on PSN saying "turn around", when he turned around i put a knife in his face. he replied saying "you cock", i replied saying "you retard, you shouldve seen me coming", and he got really defensive and eventually backed off in shear embarassment
If I'd have got that message, I would've over-cooked a frag to kill us both. Keep that in mind as they may have that idea aswell.

But yeah, well-played my friend. Do you use silencer and heartbeat sensor?

No no, what you confuse with "NOOB-iness" is actually a lovely thing called tactics, a notable development in warfare keeping people alive throughout history.

No, that sounds like a very good tactic, people calling you a noob are only mad they got shot in the head.

Here is a bigger challenge: Can you imagine a tactic in MW2 that is not accused of being noob-ish?
