It is quite insane, the general skill level of some of the players you come across.
Most games I see in MW2 tend to be completely dominated by one or two players. Then again the killstreaks have a lot to do with that. Still, you'd see it every so often in COD4 too... makes you wonder just how they spend practicing, doesn't it?
It doesn't take too much practice, at least from where I can see it -though there is two things that bug me (about discussions like that in general, not specifically about your post. Also note, the following is an opinion, so do not get all worked up or feel personally offended, pretty please?)
a) Mw2 Killstreaks - Yes there's more of them. And let me alienate the loudly weeping crowd by saying - that's good. Unlike in cod4 (which most of us sane persons can agree on was generally great), airstrikes no longer kill you in buildings half the time, and choppers no longer come with homing x-ray aimbotbullets. In addition, there's several perks to make you virtually untouchable, or weapons to quickly deal with the airstreaks. They included more variety, and (in my humble opinion anyway) improved the killstreaks balance. (with some exeptions like chopper gunner on wasteland, but even that can be avoided.
b) People that are good - No matter what game you play, no matter how proficient you are - there is always someone better than yourself (of course that goes for me as well). Upon encountering such a person, there is a couple of choices you can make.
1) You don't care - being beaten from time to time does not bother you, everything is fine.
2) You do care, but don't want to do something about it - quit the arena / battleground / server for now, go somewhere else, come back later, still all fine.
3) You do care, but respect someone for the dedication or talent he or she brings. You decide to put some effort into improving yourself, to not get beaten like this again
[sub]Hint: this is the smart peoples option[/sub]
4) You do care to the point where you can't stand anyone being better, or 'dominating a game', but don't want to work to get as good yourself, and therefore take the option of 'lol fag/virgin/noobtuber/quickscoper/getafuckinglifenoob'.
That's by any means the worst option, and still 95% of the people seem to take it. Why, is frankly beyond me.
