Yeah but, imagine doing those scenes with the best car in the game. One that can out-maneuver anything the cops threw at you and especially with the skill you developed while playing the game.Kimarous said:I had my share of hectic chases, though. Very early on, before I even had access to the second area, I got into a chase that lasted over fifteen minutes; not only was I being chased constantly, but it also felt very claustrophobic because of the limited area.akapellah21 said:It seems like you missed out on one of the most epic chase scenes in Video Game History (in my mind at least) when the game reaches a level 6 wanted rating... holy shit it was intense and sooo damn fun. I needa play the part of the game againKimarous said:Guess what? I don't care. I hit a personal impasse and dropped the game. Simple enough.Stoogie said:I've 100% that game on xbox 360 lol.Kimarous said:Need for Speed: Most Wanted
No matter how many times I tried, no matter how much I practised, no matter how much I upgraded my car, I could NEVER beat Earl (the last guy before the final area is unlocked). I had been enjoying the game up to that point, but that particular race seemed impossible. Finally, I had enough; I deleted my save and traded the game in.
Just thinking about it makes my shoulders ache...
This. Although I think its KZ2. And even maybe more so earlier on when he causes thingy to die by being a gun-toting dick.Pandalisk said:Damn thee Rico!, Damn thee to hell!. that final cutscene in KZ3 just ticks me off.
You have to wonder what kind of sick fetish these guys have and if there's a deviant art group catering to it.ThePantomimeThief said:Oh, actually, whilst I'm on Saints Row - the 'drive around a prostitute and rich guy' side missions. You have to avoid the press, occasionally private investigators, jilted lovers, blah blah blah. All that would be fine if occasionally your passengers didn't pop up and go "hey give us ten seconds of air time" whilst you're being hunted by cars faster than yours.
Ahhh, that's what I was doing wrong then. I was trying to use the Devil Bringer to grab him on his first thrust and kept getting knocked about like a dog in a car boot. Cheers for that, I'll remember it for when I masochistically attempt to play DMC4 on the next difficulty setting.Durxom said:It probably doesn't matter anymore, but I have some tips for that fight(because I played that game so damn much).
For when he is charging up that skewering thrust, every thrust after the first one, can be grabbed with your Devil Bringer(arm attack). Also, for when he is shooting his fireballs, always try to stay around him, so when he finishes attack with them, you can jump up and hit him and combo it into the grab so that you can damage him on the floor. And always ALWAYS when you have a good chance to do damage on him, do the Devil Trigger Grab on him, and keep mashing away on the shooting button and the grab button, it makes the combo go on longer, and the summonded swords that the DT bullets make, do extra damage.
