Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer. Everyone who plays it becomes very, very angry, even whilst claiming to enjoy it

Losing your entire party in pokemon to a level 5 pidgey because it used sand-attack so many times that you became physically incapable of hitting it. It's happened to me, and it's not a moment I'm likely to forget.
Still on a pokemon note, seeing "can't escape" whilst trying to run from zubat. Every. Single. Sodding. Time.

The fucking cragmites from Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.

They phase in and out of reality, so you can't effectively use automatic weapons on them. They rapid fire lasers that each take out a third of my health, despite having the best armor in the game. They have more health than I do.

Fuck Cragmites.

any game that makes you watch a short cutscene with bad dialogue before a boss fight, and restarts you before the sutscene if you die. any game that does this before a tough boss is destined to make me rage.

QFT, but only if the cutscene is unskippable. As long as I can buttonmash my way past the stupid movie after I've seen it for the nth time, I won't rage too hard.

I remember one time I was playing one of those video game manifestations of the Lord of the Rings franchise, Two Thrones I think it was. Anyway, there was this bit where you had to fight the troll in the scene where the heroes get attacked in the burial chamber in Moria.

I swear to god I got so pissed I tore the disc out of the console, snapped it in half, and gave my friend $50 to go buy a new copy because I borrowed it from him and I forgot that with my mind in a fog after being killed by the troll for the 17th time.

Finally the worst of the lot, the ending to "Red Dead Redemption".

The ending was a pure work genius. The designers just played with your emotions like a cat with a ball of string.

I felt something like that. I just didn't know what happened. I was just like "but... Marston's the good guy... the good guy's supposed to win..."

I loved killing ross with 15 shots on my Mauser Pistol it felt kinda good, although i was pissed how hard it was to find the quest.

Super Mario Galaxy 2. The controls when you are:
A. rolling around on top of a ball
B. Flying the stupid bird
are just so finicky. I had to retry so, so many times to get all the green stars on some of those godforsaken levels.

Oh my god, my cousin and I used to play this level on verses and we would BOTH GET STUCK HERE EVERY FUCKING TIME!!!

On my first playthrough of Fallout 2, I was killed instantly by a critical hit literally ONE HEX away from ending the game. Just one.

And the game save was corrupted. I had to start over again. That game was HUGE.

Halo 2's ending. I have said it before, I'll say it again: I chucked my controller at my TV after I saw that ending. Great game...right up til then.

Also, being unable to catch a shiny pokemon because I had no pokeballs. I rage quit pokemon for about a month after that...

Record of Agarest War: I finally beat the boss that entire game spent establishing him as the ultimate antagonist,but then the plot twist,and now i have to fight 6 more bosses,each of them is at lv.300 while my best char is lv.100.

And that was EASY mode!

Might have been mentioned but the ending to Divinity 2: Ego Dragonis. OH my god first a hugely hard finaly battle (had to go from medium to low difficulty to beat it) and then you get slapped in the face with the ending. Can't wait for the expansion on that, grr.
