Oh yeah, got another one, playing indoor cricket, I'm fielding(right next to the batsman which was a stupid thing to do), guy bowls, guy hits it, straight into my eye, and it's one of those proper hard cricket balls too. I don't remember the impact, I expected my eye to be broken and instantly obliterated but it was only red for a few hours, I still had my sight(thank goodness).

When I broke my arm... it didn't hurt until I actually tried to get up off the ground.

Getting my right middle finger crushed to the point that I was lucky to keep the outermost joint, at age 4...
Chrashing my bike going down hill, then having to ride my bike 2 kilometers home again to get my elbow and knee patched up, at age 10...
And most recently, my ex breaking up with me last chrismas, after a relationship lasting 2 weeks (it ruined our childhood friendship)...

There is a medical procedure where, to monitor the response, they will stick electric needles in your muscles and pump you full of juice. You cannot be anesthetized, as that would mess up the results.

It is possible to psych your way past any other sort of pain, but electrocution is special.

Appendicitis, back in the 5th grade.

The pain was comparable to having a very angry man standing next to my bed and flipping a coin every half a minute to determine whether he would stab me in the side of my abdomen, or just hit me with a bat.

Edit for: I have a much more painful surgery that I went through, but I don't know where the rules lie on the topic of describing operations in the crotch-area.

In grade 5 I put my hand down onto one of the burners on the stove after it had been running on the highest level for 10 minutes and kept it there for 3 seconds. Couldn't use my right hand for almost a month. Now my right hand has less sensitivity to heat and cold.

On a hike in the 8th grade that I had neglected to stretch for, I got a terrible cramp in my calf towards the end. I'd never suffered a muscle cramp before, so I had no idea that I was supposed to pull my foot back to relieve the pain. It was pretty excruciating. Thought I'd broken something.

The weather was awful one fateful P.E lesson. We were playing football in about -3 degree temperature, with some serious windchill. I played in defence, and had the schools best striker approaching. He shoots. He scores. Only the goal is my cold, frigid penis. The agony. Oh the agony. I was pissing razor blades for that day.

I'll go with physical pain on this one. I had my bike laying down on its side once with one of the handebars pointing up in the air. Anyway, I tripped and fell square on the handlebar that was pointing up, square on my stomach. I couldn't move for about half an hour. That was a long time ago.

I'm one of those "geeks with kids." Hubby is 6 foot 4, I'm 5 foot 4. My son was huge (and about 3 weeks overdue). Gave birth to him in the normal fashion, no c-section. He broke my pelvis. Separated the front joint (pubic symphisis) about 3 and a half inches. So, 4 days in a hospital bed unable to even so much as sit up, 6 weeks on a walker, unable to hold my infant and stand (or walk) at the same time, and 5 months sleeping in a recliner because it hurt too much to lay flat. It took a year before I was able to sleep on my side, and I still have pain sitting and walking sometimes because it didn't quite heal properly.
Yeah, that &*^%ing sucked. But I've got a great kid who loves to play videogames and watch the Muppet Show and yell "DUDE! AWESOME!" and he'll be two in January. :)

Not my pain. But a mates...

He 'broke' his penis during sex.. girl was on top, it came out, she went down, and it bent it right back. I'm sure of the medicalness behind it, but he broke his penis :p
Holy hell thats funny! My worst pain was probably when I lost one of my little toes in an accident involving an axe. Wear steel capped boots people.
Emotional pain? I'd have to second Trilby. It still is happening and pisses me off preatly. Specially because her boyfriend is really annoying. I punched him in the jaw once and cracked one of his teeth. Serves him right.

I'd have to say the countless times I've smashed my hand or foot against something. When I broke my leg, it didn't even hurt.

Testicular torsion.

According to doctors it's more painful than giving birth, which I believe from the pain...

It hurt about as much as having your finger crushed in a vice grip. For 2 hours. Getting worse every second. Until I threw up. Which made it hurt more.

Go-go gadget surgery!
