Tom Clancy's Medal of Duty: Honor Call 3. It's by far the most realistic game for the Gamebox 1.0

So you're looking for the most realistic games but disqualify simulators? Really smart.
Doesn't disqualifying simulators exclude the Flashpoint and ArmA tittles? I remember those getting touted as Battlefield simulators, not FPSs way back when.

Desert Bus. Nothing is more realistic than that.

For that matter. No game is more boring, less playable.

There is nothing else after that.

I can't find anything unrealistic in SWAT4. YEah, I'll go with that. IT IS ridiculously hard at times though.

Dear god, that game is so fucking hard. I believe this deserves a /thread.
When it comes to realism I would actually opt for the original SWAT as part of the Police Quest series: Daryl F. Gates' Police Quest: SWAT. It was much less a FPS than an actual SWAT simulation. I remember doing the sniper training over and over again. Indeed, that was hard.

I'd forgotten that SWAT came out of the Police Quest series. I played one of them the Police Quest Games, (4?), the manual it shipped with was the Los Angeles PD's training manual, and it was brutally stuck on police procedure, to the point of bashing your head into the wall repeatedly because you literally can't turn over a spent slug to ballistics, unless you properly note the crime scene and write up a damn report.

red faction 1 ...... purely coz u can break the surroundings pretty damn realistically for the time ... anything with decent geomod(destructible surroundings etc) gets my vote ..... i know theirs probably better but breaking the ground with explosives gets pretty close to real for me

Exactly. Now that deserves a /thread.

Red Orchestra is the best realistic FPS I have had the pleasure of playing (frequently)

Crash bandicoot. I'm always running around shirtless spinning in circles and collecting apples.

I'd say Tales of Vesperia if you look at some of the story of it. Whenever you manage to catch the bad guy he usually got a high status so when the trial comes and he should go to jail he uses his influence to get away from it almost without punishment so he's free to go on making hell for the people on the floor.

GTA4 is NOT realistic, everyone stop bringing up GTA4.
Cars do not move that slow.
When cars at full speed collide, it doesn't resemble bumper cars.
People don't heal from having sex or eating burgers.
If you get hit at full force from a car, you will go flying and die; not tumble over it with minor scratches.
Niko moves like he has arthritis.

The new GTA is sorta like a caricature of real life, compared to other games. It's like hyperrealism; when you work something closer and closer to realism, there's a point where you cross the line back into surrealism.

ARMA/ARMA II.

and Skate, for the most part. There's barely anything on Skate that can't be done in real life. I used to skate for 3 years as well, so I do know what I'm talking about. Skate 2... not as much.
