Everything in CODMW2. EVERYTHING

Bioshock 2

Forza 3 pre-release everything. Apparently my car won't explode into a beautiful array of particle effects.

MS points. What's wrong with dollars? At least they have a value (well, not the american dollar).

Hola odst. Really, why? Didn't sell half as much as hola 3, heck, GT5 Prologue out-sold it, and it was somewhat significant.
That seems like a load of crap. Bioshock 2? Everything in Modern Warfare 2? Most of these things aren't even in games anyway, and when they are, like the stuff from MW2, they're not useless.

I have a reason for your problems.
Shut up.

The easter egg in Sam and Max Abe Lincoln Must Die is a pretty useless item. It is not used for anything in that game.

Blast Shield in Modern Warfare 2?

Most things have their uses and there is always a situation where they are needed.
Any time I found one I kept it with me until the end of the level. Loved em myself. Pretty well god mode with them.

Lightburst in Metroid Prime 2. While Sonic Boom and Dark Burst were insanely good, Lightburst was...just so slow. It took ages to get to it's target. Sure it did instant death damage to everything (on normal if it hits it'll probably do 50% damage to the emporer ing).
But you have to be some kind of mathematical genius to hit with that thing.. ;(

Are you serious? The TMP could stun enemies with one measely bullet and then you could proceed to knife them to death on the ground to save ammo. Seriously I think it's one of the best because it's the only automatic weapon so it's perfect for both crowd control and single enemies. I tried playing through the game without it and I had difficulty doing that.

Me, Idk a lot of collectibles in RPGs are useless. Modern 2D Castlevania games have a ton of these, most of them just food that hardly heal anything.

Actually, in Fable the Piercing augmentation was useless as fuck, every time I put it on my weapons there was no difference in damage dealt. Also the fact that every normal weapon handled the same way meant that you might as well use the katana (for light weapons) or greatsword (for heavy weapons) since the lower rank weapons dealt less damage and had no unique uses.

So fucking useless, yet it sold for a decent amount.

Every collectable item, ever.
Fallout 3 Bobblehead?
Yeah, I was gonna put 'bar some' because I know some collectables give something. I couldn't think of any at the time though so I left it for someone like you to quote, and tell me! :D

The Cigarettes in Metal Gear Solid.

Point being: You get Thermal goggles within 10-15 minutes, which, might I add, don't kill you.

And to my recollection, seeing as how there are no lasers between the arrival on Shadow Moses, and when you get the goggles, they are completely useless.

The Razorback in Team Fortress 2, because any half-decent spy will notice it and shoot you in the head with an Ambassador instead. Even if they do stab you, they can probably kill you with the Ambassador before they turn It also keeps you from using Jarate and slows you down so you can't knife people easily.

The Glaive in Blade II.
It's a badass boomerang shuriken!..that takes a decade to charge up, forces you to stand still in order to charge it, and doesn't do nearly enough damage.

My vote goes to the .32 pistol from Fallout 3. It does less damage than the pistol given to you at the start of the game & uses the same ammunition as a superior weapon, the Hunting Rifle.
That, or the Empathy perk in Fallout 2.
You'd do more damage by just running up to a raider and punching him to death
