I think you can actually use them in outdoor combat. I'd have to play the game to make sure, though.Carbonic Penguin said:As the title suggests... what is the most useless item in a game that you have encountered? Mine would have to be the ship missile expansions in Metroid Prime 3... You only use them to proceed through the game, and ammo is plentiful. You also get the expansions after you use three( the orgignal max) in relatively quick succesion. You can't use them in combat, unless I'm missing something... useless!
I believe you used them to shoot at "special" objects while you were exploring to get to new areas or new upgrades, and could only be replenished when you got back to a landing siteinternetzealot1 said:I think you can actually use them in outdoor combat. As far as functionality is concerned, I really can't disagree with you too much (you're making me miss this game, btw). The mine darts haven't exactly saved my ass more than once and that was after I'd run out of just about all my other weapons (the first nonstop ambush inside the castle where you have to protect Ashley while she's turning those, erm, levers). They are, however, an absolute blast to use. There's an area you can sneak up on, I believe just before the mine, where a bunch of Ganados are standing around a campfire doing absolutely nothing. Nothing like connecting the scope and firing a mine dart into the head of one of those guys, running up to the fire and seeing them all quickly die.rs2000 said:Now the mine darts! they were pointless, i'm on my 5th play through & only used them a few times.funguy2121 said:I always preferred an upgraded shotgun and the occasional mine dartMBergman said:Are you kidding? Good one. The only time I used the shurikens was to get the 100-hit combo achievement.Distorted Stu said:The shurikens in Ninja Gainden 2, you can throw fucking hundreds of the things and they hardly do any damage at all. They are only good for something to throw while your in the air and look more ninja like, but still, hardly any damage.
i was thinking of that and magikarp or rattatakoeniginator said:Any of the stat-raising items in pokemon.

Not only is it weak, but it curses you when you equip itCNKFan said:The Fork of Horrapilation in Oblivion. That was the weakest weapon in the game that I found.
Really? I just thought that it was hella weak I did not know that you got a curse to go along with it.veekter said:Not only is it weak, but it curses you when you equip itCNKFan said:The Fork of Horrapilation in Oblivion. That was the weakest weapon in the game that I found.
Try playing around with it for a while. Sure, it may be the worst weapon, but damn if it isn't fun.Arkvoodle said:The Muscle-mass form in "Prototype."
