Avatar wasn't bad per se so much as it was terribly overhyped and overrated. I wish I could unsee both Fantastic Four movies. Napoleon Dynamite (or at least what little I saw of it) was also terrible.

Drag me to hell. God damn that was the worst film I have ever seen in the cinema. People told me it was scary and it was really just jumping scenes then everything else was either coring or funny
It's a Sam Raimi horror movie, of course it is funny, it is supposed to be
Yeah that may be what the director intended but people told me it was scary. Which is why I went to see it in the first place

Fight Club.

That way, I could watch it for the first time again!

WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME!

High School Musical, or possibly one of the sequels. Most crappy movies are rather amusing to mock, but we watched that piece of shit in class and they wouldn't let me mock it - or run away, very fast, which is the proper response to a TV playing High School Musical.

The Village: This movie seriously ends by coming out and saying that everything you just saw was nonsense. So I just wasted my time watching this pretentious shit.

Monster's Ball: I don't care if it has a naked Halle Berry - who's acting sucked by the way - It has a scene that cleary shows Billy Bob Thorton's flapping ballsack.

Transformers 2: It was basically like swimming in pool filled with dog vomit.

Any movie that was so bad you wish you could forget it. My vote goes to Avatar for having a awful plot, characters, and message.
If Avatar is the worst movie you have seen, you must have probably watched no more than eight movies in your lifetime or you're trying to come off as "hip" by holding an irrationally huge hatred for whatever is popular at this current moment in time.

Frankly, I envy you for never sitting through an actually bad movie if you think Avatar is the worst thing you have ever seen. If Avatar is terrible in your eyes, then I can only fathom what you would think about actual cinematic abortions such as The Black Cauldron, Howard the Duck, Pokemon The Movie 2000, Transformers 2, Space Jam, Kazaam, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Antz, Clash of the Titans, etc.

I am not sure if this counts as a movie or just a travesty, but since most of the stuff in it is entirely fictional, I am going to go ahead and say "Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed". Holy hell.

A movie I regret having seen is Paranormal Activity. I suppose it works better if you believe in ghosts and demons and such, but for me, it was 90 minutes of two newcomer actors chewing scenery and getting scared half to death of doors moving in the night. I could go on and on about how bloody stupid the whole premise is.

Eragon, the book was ok but the movie was utter shit. They left out some of the best parts from the book and the entire thing felt rushed.

Avatar.
They basically took the plot from Pocahontas and put in space.
It doesn't really matter though, but that movie gets horrendously worse each time you watch it.

OT... Over the Hedge. Ick.

Twilight - and I'm not saying it because hating Twilight, apparently, is the in thing to do nowadays. It's honestly the worst movie I've ever seen.
What was so bad about Twilight? I can see why it's not that popular among people who aren't teen fangirls, but it wasn't that bad.

That God-Awful Paul Blart Mall Cop Abomination.

I got free tickets from my friend who works at the movies, because he owed me from one time when I bought him dinner about a year before that. I got so bored that, after 15 minutes of agony, I pulled out my Pokemon Pearl game and dicked about for the rest of the movie. And my friend agreed that me talking smack to my little imaginary critters was MUCH more entertaining than anything this movie could EVER amount to.

Which is pretty sad, because at that point, I was just running around and beating the shit out of any Pidgey that breathed funny.
