You're Not Alone from FF9 is one of the best pieces I have ever listened to in a long time. Such a heart warming an epic feeling I get from listening to it.

Really i thought some of the music in Final fantasy 7 is godawful if you actually listen to it. Repetative and obnoxious. But on the other hand some of it is brilliant. I think its a bit much to say its ALL fantastic. Let me strap you down in a dark room and blast the golden saucer theme down your ears for a few hours then get back to me

However as long as we're on the topic of FF The opera house with celes had a fantastic little number for a 16 bit system.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADrqmgj0u0w&feature=related....God that sounds so much like the song played during aeris's death. Sorta like how i used to get the starwars and superman themes when i was a kid.

Indeed. Final Fantasy music as a whole is so well scored that it actually makes me want to learn the piano, just so i could play them.

the halo trilogy had some good music, it was probably the best part about halo 2 and 3 but, the music in half life 2 really gets me pumped, thats rare in games haha
