Indeed the Halo 3 soundtrack is sweet but my love goes out to Still Alive, the theme for Mirrors Edge, and Shall never surrender in DMC4.

The entire Silent Hill 2 soundtrack is brilliant, but you can't appreciate it unless you've played the game. I guess my personal choice would be 'Theme of Laura (Reprise)'

The Mass Effect end credits song... it's sublime.

The guitars in it are really well done and it's got a real epic, longing feel to it.

Sergeant Reznov was so awesome he got his own soundtrack.

This song represent pure Russian badassery. Almost makes you feel your right there as they mercilessly crush the last remains of the German forces.

The games few all-vehicle missions. Incredibly powerful beat, up a bit too... techno for a WWII game imo.

Those are all awesome, I especially loved Reznov's music. It really gets you pumped for taking down the Reichstag.

The second one sounds like Nightwish haha

I love all the music on Final fantasy VIII (it would be practically impossible for me to pick my favourite from the soundtrack), but my favourite game song would have to be the ending theme from Final fantasy X.

The opera from Final Fantasy VI is pretty much one of my favorite pieces of music from a video game. That game has one of the most memorable soundtracks I've ever heard.

It's an outstanding game, I had only played MGS1 before 4, so i had to get online to catch up to all the story, but once I did I was amazed by this game.
