No one is being an asshole here, so stop being an asshole by calling everyone with an opinion an asshole. Also not everyone here says they don't like the film, just saying it's over-rated.canadamus_prime said:And this too. And for God's sake people, just because you don't like something doesn't mean you have to be an asshole about it.
Agreeeeddd and thank you very much. Minus Reservoir Dogs, and perhaps Dusk till dawn. His movies are ass, and i think it's a bit self richeous that he always casts himself in some sort of role in them. Though he does get a bonus cookie for writing Natural Born Killers.rosemystica said:I know I'll get a lot of shit for this, but: Almost anything Quentin Tarantino puts out.

I completely agree.ColdStorage said:I'm with you, I think most of his films are bullshit pop culture references. Making a reference to something else doesn't make you clever or artistic, it just means you've seen something else.rosemystica said:I know I'll get a lot of shit for this, but: Almost anything Quentin Tarantino puts out.

Apparently Pulp Fiction is good because of how the story was shown out of order, whatever, its basis is rubbish.
You guys know both of those were based on Stephen King novels, so the whole supernatural thing should be kinda expected...I enjoyed both of those movies, shawshank more than green mile though.run_forrest_run said:The Green Mile was going good for me until the whole supernatural thing came in. It was a fucking stupid idea.Casual Shinji said:The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.
I've said it once and I'll say it again; Frank Darabont sucks.
Sounds more like a list to anger the people in this forum than movies you don't like.FargoDog said:I have more than a few. Aliens, Avatar, Eraserhead, Pulp Fiction, The Mist, Hurt Locker, Inglorious Basterds, Goodfellas, A Clockwork Orange, The Human Centipede (more hype than anything), Salo, Gone with the Wind and there's a few more that I can't think off.
EDIT: Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz too.
I agree with the last two entries as well.elcamino41383 said:Hurt Locker, Twilight series, Avatar, Inglorious Basterds, District 9, Cloverfield, Napoleon Dynamite, Donnie Darko. Yes I realize most are already listed, and I don't much care![]()
We can judge movies we haven't seen simply on the fact that our friends annoy us? Sweet!Miumaru said:Any movie people go "You never saw ____!?"
Mostly just because that is annoying. Godfather, ET and Aliens are the main ones.
