Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Ooc: Guys, I think we need to take a vote on Adam Jenson, We won't kill him off just send him off, also should we open up another spot? (Again Yay and yay for sending and opening and all possible variants)

It was such a beatiful day, Rodney didn't much like the idea of going into a dark,damp tunnel but it was neccessary.

The group had a large lunch with all the pokemon just outside the entrance and went in.

As soon they got in and all sense of light or direction was lost to him Rodney said "Crap, anyone have a torch?"

OOC: I don't mind if we kill him off and it depends on who gets the spot. So... Yay :}

Jeffery entered the tunnel not being able to see anything not even his hand in front of his face.

"anyone got a torch" Rodney asked the group having just as much trouble with the dark. Jeffery thought for a moment "hmmmmm what can I use as a light?" then suddenly an idea came to him. he fumbled around in his bad and pulled out one of his pokeballs.
"GO CHARMANDER" jeffery yelled throwing the pokeball into the air as soon as it bounced off the ground charmander was released his tail fire creating a small circle of light.
"cool thanks Jeff" Rodney said walking behind charmander revealing himself in the light. everyone else came into view as they approached charmander`s tail.

yeah I`m gonna go with yay on sending him off and opening another spot but I say we don`t put the spot open until we get to the next town or not make him a random traveler or something

Rodney also then opted to let Blaze out,for more light. "Good thinking, Jeffrey" Rodney said, then taking a step a little to large he tripped over a rocky outcrop, dislodging some of the stones.

Rodney picked a few up and noticed that they were evolution stones, A Fire, Thunder and Leaf stone to be precise. Rodney picked himself up off the ground,dusted off his clothes and went to show the group their discovery.

Ooc: Ok, 2 yay to both one more vote and it's decided. I am again not voting. When do we think is a good time to open the slot? Celadon seems logical but maybe a bit early?

Magnus let out Quillz to light the path as well, seeing as she produced the most flame out of any of the other Pokemon.

"Good thinking, Jeffrey" Rodney told Jeffrey, who let out his Charmander. Rodney let out Blaze and then tripped on a rock and fell. After picking himself up off of the ground, he picked up some of the rocks and showed them to the group.

"Guys," Rodney said to the group. "Look at these." Rodney showed the group what he had tripped over, they were Evolution stones. There was a Fire Stone, a Thunderstone, and a Leaf Stone.

"Evolution stones?" Magnus asked, slightly surprised on what they found. "I didn't know that they could be found in here..." Magnus took another step towards them but slipped on a wet rock, nearly hitting his head.

"Magnus!" Aari yelped. "Are you okay, you're not hurt are you?"

"No, I'm fine Aari...thanks though." Magnus looked down at what he slipped on and picked it up. It was another Evolution stone... a Water Stone.

"Guys," Magnus showed them the Water Stone. "Be sure to keep an eye out for more of these things... It seems we've gotten lucky today... Hey Jared, did you manage to get a hold of that Moon Stone the Merchant had?"

As much as I hate to say it... Yay. Sorry Adam Jenson, time to let you go. When we do start accepting new Joiners, we should have them all post their Char Sheets and then we can all PM stormcaller on which one we think should join. You know, like a vote.

Ooc: So you think you can RP?, American (RP) Idol? Ok I'll stop but I do like the "Try-out's" idea. One or two slots is the next question.

Rodney was amazed by thier find, it was almost too good...

Jeffery simply stared at amazement at the plethora of stones he saw but he posed a question to the group.
"so who get`s what I mean that in both a sense of monetary gain and actual need"

Ooc: What's going "Ryan seacrest" isn't he that annoying bloke from E! ?

Rodney snapped back into reality and said "At this point you guys decide what to do with them, I only need a moonstone for Faith" He put his three gems down on the floor in the small pile that had been amassed.

"uhhhh yeah you guys can have em I don`t really need any of them I prefer to let my Pokemon evolve on their own" Jeffery said looking down at the pile which contained at least 10 evolution stones.

OOC: no ryan seacrst is the host of American idol.

Magnus counted up the stones they had found: one Water, two Thunder, one Fire, and two Leaf.

Magnus took out his Pokedex and searched through the pages until he found what he was looking for.

"Here we go..." Magnus said as he found the appropriate page in the electronic device. "It says here that there are nine types of Evolutionary Stones: Fire, Thunder, Water, Leaf, Moon, Sun, Shiny, Dusk, and Dawn. Moon Stones can, usually, only be found in areas where asteroids and metorites have hit. There are also Everstones, which keep Pokemon from evolving... Yada yada yada.. Pokemon that evolve using stones... yada yada yada... That's pretty much it." Magnus closed the Pokedex and placed it back in his pocket.

"Alright," Rodney said cheerfully. "Well, seeing as we don't have any Pokemon that evolve using these stones that we have right now, I guess we'll just hang on to them."

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Magnus agreed. "I think I'll hang onto this Water Stone. In case one of us catches an Eevee, or a Staryu or a Poliwhirl, and wants to evolve it."

The group went on, keeping an eye out in the dark for more evolutionary stones. The group was starting to get tired, Magnus checked his watch. It read 7:38PM, it was time to set up camp.

"Alright guys, we can stop here..." Magnus said to the group.

"Why? Why're we stopping?" Jared asked. "What time is it?"

"It's almost 8pm. We need to set up camp and eat. Food sounds good, yes?"

"Yeah," Jeffrey added. "What do we have?"

"Luckily, I managed to bag one of those Tauros while we were out in the fields. I bagged a juevnile so it won't be too tough or gamey."

Magnus was met with somewhat of an astonished stare by most of the group. Rodney just smiled and said:
"Oh that's good. Get it started will ya?"
The group set up their supplies while Magnus and Aari started on cooking dinner. With the meal finally done cooking they all sat down to eat. They were eating some nice tenderloin steaks and some stew made from from some of the tougher parts and some of whatever vegetables they had they had left.

OOC: Om nom nom, yum.. Tauros veal.

Aari sat and stared at her delicious food. She hadn?t been one for eating Tauros but the succulent taste from this meat was addicting. She finished hers a little quicker than everyone else and decided to feed Daisy and Togepi. Aari stepped back a little before tripping and falling back. Before hitting the ground, she heard a ripping noise.

?No! My t-shirt ripped.? Aari cried upon landing on her bottom.

?Who cares? It?s only a top... Besides, this meat is lovely? Jeffery said.

Aari frowned and looked at her side. Her skin was a little cut and some blood dripped out of her cut. Aari bit her lip and stood up, brushing herself off. Sighing she released her lip and went to look for some cream. None was left so she sighed and reached for a cold cloth. Aari held the cold cloth to her wound and proceeded to clean herself up.

Nobody really took interest in her fall and she liked it that way. Not making a fuss was one of Aari?s dying habits. She always seems to land in sticky situations but get herself out of them without anyone caring. Before further ado, Aari fed Togepi and Daisy.

She sighed and turned back to the boys, laughing to herself quietly.

Magnus took the egg out of his backpack and held it in his arms. It was warm, like always, but it seemed to be moving more and more often from the inside. He kept the egg close to the fire while the group sat around it and talked.

"Magnus," Jeffrey asked. "Don't you think it's a bit much to hold that thing all the time? I mean, anytime we're not travelling, you carry that thing in your arms as if it were going to break if you didn't."

"I like holding it." Magnus told Jeffrey. "And besides, it comforts me. If I wanna hold the egg, I will. Try and keep me from doing it."

"Geez, relax man. I was only kidding."

"Still, the last time I didn't keep track of this thing it got stolen. I frankly don't want to have to deal with an angry Quillz trying to kill anyone who touches her egg.. other than me."

"Yeah," Jared agreed with Magnus. "I'd hate to piss off Quillz. She seems like the type of Pokemon that would be quite unpleasent to upset." The group laughed and continued talking until they settled down for bed.

"yeah it got stolen but I got it back" Jeffery said taking a bite out of his meal.

"yeah but you also went crazy, stole a gun and shot a pokemon and almost shot me" Rodney chimed in.

"wait you did WHAT" lucario said shocked.

"uh yeah listen I did`nt want to tell you cause I thought you did`nt have to know" Jeffery said his good mood crashing down.

"you did`nt think I had to know that you shot a Pokemon you know what I`m kicking your ass Lucario got up and readied his fists.

"don`t take that attitude with me" Jeffery said getting up as well.

"make me" lucario sneered putting on a grin.

"you know what I`ve had just about all I can take of your attitude let`s settle this" Jeffery readied his fists as well both him and lucario ready to fight.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

Quillz got up from the ground and faced Lucario and Jeffrey, about to duke it out. She opened her mouth and used Swift on the two of them, a single star-shaped ray hit each of them in the head.

"Quil, Quilava lava. Quilava Quilava Quil Quilava..." You two need to stop acting like idiots or I will personally kick both of your asses. I'm tired of you two fighting like a bunch of children. And I'm especially disappointed in you Lucario. Sometimes you're as hard-headed as a Cranidos, and that's saying something.

Magnus laughed at Quillz's chastising of Jeffrey and Lucario.

"What did she say?" Rodney asked Magnus, confused by his laughter.

Magnus relayed the message to the rest of the group, who proceeded to laugh as well, except for Lucario and Jeffrey.

Chompers every ready for what he saw as a game jumped out of his seat and began to dance.

Rodney buried his head in his hands and said "I hope he stops dancing by the time he is a Feraligator because that would be weird." He pictured in his head a giant multi fanged monster leaping in the air and siniging.

"Croca, croca, NAW, crocanaw!" continued Chompers, Rodney was also saddened by the fact he couldn't understand Chompers as well as Magnus did Quillz, he asked Lucario what he said and Lucario still a little scratched from the swift replied He said he wants to play fight someone now, I'm going no where near those jaws of his though. Can't you understand your own pokemon?

Rodney turned away from the group and began to mull Lucario's confirmation of what he thought, he was a poor trainer .

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

Magnus saw that what Lucario had said to Rodney had gotten to the boy. Magnus tried to think of a way to cheer him up, to make him rid himself of his doubt. Then it hit him, it was so simple.

"Rodney..." Magnus said to his friend.

"Yeah," Rodney replied. "What is it Magnus?"

"I challenge you to a Pokemon battle..."

OOC: Hooray for Magnus being the unofficial big brother of the group.

Ooc *IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT* I am opening the spot for our "try-outs" so that the one/two we pick are ready to jump in by the time we hit Celadon, on that note we are taking a vote on how many we want. (yes or no, I will continue to find different words everytime)

To join in: Simply fill out a sheet and the current members will PM me with their votes on Tuesday the 7th. We are looking for a friendly, active poster, you don't need pokemon knowledge beyond the basic and we've posted sites for you to check moves and such. Sorry for the asholey approach to it but we want to make sure we get someone good. (You can create your own pokemon but they have to be acceptable no "uber-leetz" and such.

Magnus stood across from Rodney, prepared to prove that Rodney was not a poor trainer.

"Well Rodney," Magnus taunted him. "Are you going to deny me my challenge?"

"Do I have to?" Rodney asked.

"Yes, you do. Three-on-Three, no switching out Pokemon. Get ready, I'm not backing down and neither are you."

Magnus knew Rodney had to decide which Pokemon he would use in his battle.

"Are you ready Rodney?"

"I'm ready Magnus... Let's do this. Go Speedy!" Rodney called out his Raticate, prepared for battle.

"Scout! You're up!" Magnus called out his Furret, who eagerly popped out of his ball.
Both trainers stared each other down before calling out their first attack.

"Quick Attack!" Both trainers told their Pokemon, who charged at each other aggressively.

You know what I've noticed... None of the people in our group have any Grass-Type Pokemon... Just making an ovservation.
