Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Ooc: Sorry I forgot to story post

The blows hit the two pokemon sqaure neither giving an inch despite the size differences finally they jumped away from each other.

Rodney although sad wasn't going to throw this battle. He quickly noted that the walls of the cave were at a gentle slope and decided to use this to his advantage "Speedy!, use quick attack to scale the wall of the cave then launch yourself into a Hyper Fang with the momentum!"

Magnus replied in turn "Scout, wait for my call to move" Speedy scaled the wall and had barely reached a direct 180 degree angle when she launched herself off the wall, already sizeable teeth extending further and further.

Magnus continued "Closer...closer now Scout, dodge!" The furret jumped out of the way and Speedy just managed to roll out of cracking her skull.

Rodney made the next call "Speedy, Take Down!" Magnus responded quickly with "Scout, sand attack!" although there was no actual sand about Scout kicked up some of the dust and directed it Speedy's way.

Although blinded Speedy continued on eventually colliding with a very large rock. Rodney ran over to Speedy whose fur was now turning a little red and picked her up, put her down with the others carefully and tryed to continue the battle.

Secretly, inside however he was berating himself.

Ooc: Magnus or whoever, make Rodney lose the next one too (not with Chompers) please and thank you!

Magnus allowed Rodney to withdraw Speedy from the battle, and switch for another Pokemon.

"Go Sparks!" Rodney called out his new Mareep, allowing it to battle for the first time. "Sparks, use Thundershock!" The electric beam hit Scout, hurting it.

"Scout, use Fury Swipes!" Scout jumped back and forth swiping at the Mareep with his claws.

"Wait for it..." Scout made contact with Sparks' wool. "Now, Thunder Wave!" Scout was paralyzed by the electrical field that Sparks emitted.

"Snap out of it Scout, use Quick Attack." Scout was able to speed toward the Mareep, doing damage to it, but the paralysis stopped it after that.

"Sparks, use Thundershock again." A beam of electrical energy struck Scout, and Sparks was then enveloped in a shroud of light. It grew in size and stood on its hind legs.

"Flaaaaaaafy..." Sparks bellowed, awaiting the next command as a newly evolved Pokemon.

"Scout, use Dig!" Scout broke loose of its paralysis and dug under the ground awaiting the perfect moment to strike.

"Sparks, use Thundershock on the hole. Shock him out!" Sparks electrocuted the hole, but it was uneffective in the ground.

"Now!" Scout shot up from below and struck the Flaafy, knocking it out. "Excellent work Scout, now return." Magnus shot Scout back into its Pokeball, retiring him from the match.

"Go Quillz, battle please." Quillz beamed from her ball, the Pokemon's flames spiked up prepared for battle. "Come on Rodney, hit me with all you got."

I hope you didn't mind the evolution.. I thought it was fitting seeing as Sparks was so close already.

lucario and Jeffery were sitting at the sidelines watching the battle unfold both of them still pissed at each other. Jeffery leaned over to lucario and whispered.
"we`ll settle this at night no interruptions"
"fine how bout this I won`t use my aura sphere or any of my attacks and you won`t use any weapons it`ll be a straight up fist fight"
"got it hope you don`t bleed to much" Jeffery said leaning away and returning his attention to the battle.

Ooc: Bump?

The fight was now down to Chompers versus Quillz, Rodney although Sparks evolution saw through what Magnus was doing immediately and said.

"I'm not using any water-type moves!" This thre Magnus off for a second who quickly regained himself and responded "That's fine with me, Quillz swift!"

The stars burst from Quillz mouth striking at Chompers who could only block, Rodney made his move "Chompers use bite on Quillz!" Chompers moved forward fairly quickly but Quillz was faster and quickly moved out of the way of the razor sharp jaws.

"Quillz, tackle!" The small fiery pokemon launched herself at Chompers gut and hit squarely winding the much larger pokemon. Rodney's mind fell apart he was failing horribly with his best pokemon and one of his best friends.

Magnus saw there was no use in trying to throw the fight anymore, "Quillz in the air now!" Quillz responded and launched herself directly above Chompers, almost hitting the cave roof, Magnus continued "Now swift followed by a full-force take down!" Quillz almost didn't listen but finally let out the stars and dropped with the force of gravity into Chompers.

As Chompers caught the massive force of the tackle still laying there, he shook violently and coughed up some blood.

Magnus was horrified he thought That shouldn't happen, especially with a tough pokemon like Chompers. With a further inspection of Pokemon and trainer he continued Oh no, he's lost the will to fight as well.

Togepi leapt out of Aari's arms and walked over to Chompers nudging him slightly in the arm, Aari ran over to pick Togepi up and too noticed the matching facial expressions of the Rodney and Chompers.

Jared had picked up on this too as had Nicky, even ever-oblivious Jeffrey still locked in challenge with Luario saw what was wrong, they stopped glaring each other down- for the moment and Jeffrey starting chanting "Get up Rodney, get up Chompers!" Aari turned to shush him then decided to join in too, Togepi danced to the beat meanwhile.

Magnus and Jared added their voices to the growing chant, finally Chompers stirred. He pulled himself up slowly and began a deep roar eventually he began to glow white and grow, the spike on his back separated into more spikes and grew, his posture hunched over, his tail grew, his arms and legs became thick and muscular and his body stretched to more then twice Chomper's height.

Through all this the roar did not stop, becoming deeper and stronger over-taking the still going chant.

Rodney with his back turned to a wall did not see what had happened and imagine the roaring was Chompers roaring in pain because of Rodney's pitiful skills as a trainer.

We going to fight or what!? The incredibly deep and monstrous, yet still somehow familiar voice asked Rodney causing him to jump hitting his head on yet another rock "Who was that?" then he felt massive hands pick him up with ease and set him down before a gigantic Feraligatar.

Rodney was esctatic, if his pokemon wanted to fight then so did he, wiping away his eyes he walked back to where the group was assembled and said "I think we still have a fight to finish, no?"

Ooc: Sorry for the double evolution but I've had this little "arc" in the works for a long time and it's going to set us up for later. That and Rodney won't have another nervous breakdown for a good while...*cue dramatic music*

Therefore, I would not train pokemon, I would instead be using a few specialized weapons like a sniper rifle, hunting knife, mustard gas grenades, frag grenades, and dual pistols against to kill all pokemon and anyone who tries to stop me from killing them.

Ooc: Pretty much, no. The others and I all have pokemon and your character sounds more like he belongs in an Army RP, you can make a trainer that has a grudge/phobia against some pokemon but to some extent you still have to focus on the key point that maks the pokeworld different from ours.

Magnus awoke the next morning... inside a cave, not a wonderful place to be. He checked his watch and saw that it was 8:00 in the morning, he should have been up already. He saw Rodney awake and with Chompers, the newly evolved Feraligatr, serving themselves some breakfast. He saw that Quillz was awake as well, waiting for Magnus to feed her.

"Quil, Quilava." You woke up late, I'm hungry.

"I'm aware," Magnus told Quillz. "How's your offspring?"

"Quilava, Quilava lava." Good, he'll hatch any day now.

"How do you know it's a male? Are Pokemon able to tell before an egg hatches?"

"Quilava... Quilava lava Quil Quilava Quilava." It's just a hunch. Now that Rodney and Chompers can communicate they've been chattering non-stop.

"Well that's good. Anyway, the egg's still in the sleeping bag, I'll have your breakfast ready in a moment." Quillz walked over to the egg and curled herself around it, she knew exactly when it was going to hatch, but she wanted Magnus to be surprised when it happened.
Magnus poured Quillz a bowl of Pokemon food and brought it over to her. She began to eat happily.

"Good morning you two..." Magnus said to Rodney and Chompers. "How's your conversation going, eh?"

Pokemon: Ace, a Wartortle with a trick up his sleeve, and Blade, a Farfetch'd with a sense of humor
Bio: Eric is a late bloomer in the pokemon world. His journey didn't start until his sixteenth birthday when his parents gave him a Squirtle who had hatched from the egg of his dad's Psyduck and his Mom's Blastoise. This gave his Wartortle the odd ability to use confusion (It worked in silver/gold, I've tried it. psychic Squirtle) His first catch was a Farfetch'd he found looting a farmer's leek patch for a "Weapon." He has always been interested in plants and plant type pokemon and this lead him to learn about different herbs to cure various pokemon ailments.

Jeffery got up from his sleeping bag slowly creeping out into the cave he came out and saw that magnus and Rodney were already up.
"morning" Jeffery said to the both of them sitting down in front of the fire.
"morning" magnus responded Rodney to busy talking to his Pokemon to talk back. Jeffery sat down and started to eat his breakfast. As soon as he was finished he looked around and saw lucario in the corner he walked over to him.
"so it looks like we`ll have to reschedule for tomorrow night what with all the commotion" Jeffery said wanting more than ever to put lucario in his place.
"it`s fine with me I don`t really care when I kick your ass" lucario responded refusing to make eye contact with Jeffery.
"well then it`s decided" Jeffery said turning to walk back to the rest of the group.

Jared walked back over to the main camp and sat down by the fire. He took out the Moon Stone that he purchased from the merchant Magnus pointed out before. He flipped in his hands a few times. "Well, if Nicky does evolve into Nidoking, it will make fighting in Vermillion a heck of a lot easier. But I don't want to force it or anything. I dunno."
