Eternal Darkness for the game. That game got into my psych like nothing before, and it's still my standard for scaring the pants off of me

I recently watched SAW V, and the part where the girl's arm flings up from the counter made me jump, but thats about it. As for games Doom 3, Quake, Condemned, and the fact that I have to wait three months for Saw the game. good thing I'm patient. :p

Pet semetary was incredibly scary for me. As for video games, probably condemend.
Thank you, thank god I'm not the only one. Pet Sematary was the movie that I saw when I was younger and I had never, ever been more scared in my LIFE. I was completely mentally destroyed and panicky, I would stay up until first light before I went to bed, I ate less I kept the doors locked.I was traumatised, like literally traumatised. And ever since then, nothing else scares me.I have lost a sense of fear replaced instead by cold hard cynicism. Because a little piece of me died the night I saw Pet Sematary. A piece that I could never bring back, even from the burial ground.....

Bioshock. You enter the room where the water is waist high. You feel very slow and feeble. You blasted the water with your Electrobolt right? Yeah there can't be anything wro....Click.....Lights out....Oh they are back on again that is better. Grab your tonic, search the body. Back through the water up the stairs RARRHH! crazy doctor in the cabinet coming to getcha! Also the begining where you climbed down into rapture was unsettling for the first time playing it.
I agree but I still loved that game.

For movies though i would have to say the remake for the "Amityville Horror" was rather creepy just because I watched it at midnight. I also had trouble with the "Halloween" remake just because of the gore.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

I was 10 when I watched that series for the first time. I think it safe to say the psychological and philosophical depth to it warped and terrified my young childish fragile egg-shelled mind.

And the poetry of Jim Morrison.

2 Games, FEAR and Condemned 2. FEAR really managed to work up a creepy atmosphere sometimes, not counting the startle events involving that girl. Condemned 2 had some awfully scary levels as well, especially the hotel level. Then came the second half, with random superpowers....that made me a sad panda. Movies never scared me, not even The Blair Witch Project.

The original Silent Hill, where you first see the little child demon things with the knives. That was terrifying.

OH OH and Resident Evil Nemesis where you get chased out of the cafe by Nemesis. I never finished the game because of that bit...

I wish I got scared more often because I live for those thrills, however, it doesn't happen very often at all. :(

My first go through Bioshock made me fall out of my chair several times. Ravenholm in Half Life 2 has points that nearly made me wet myself too.
