Poll: Am I worrying to much? 2012

I'm a pretty crazy conspiracist, but I always remember something I was told by me father, since the dawn of time people have been claiming the worlds gonna end. So with that in mind I hopped onto the web after I heard the crazy prediction that the world will just end on december 21st 2012 and the only evidence they've got backing it is a stupid Mayan calendar of some description (Not to mention a few crackpots who supported it just to make a quick buck off writing doomsday books concerning the theory). And the evidence opposing it? How about almost every respected scientist of this day and age who've run the charts, done the etsts, looked at the theory and have come up witha final statement. Pure bollocks.

2012 is predicted to be the end of the world because it's where the Mayan calender stops. More realistically, that's probably where it stops just because that's where it stops, as they never went any further.

It is the same basic theory as what was behind Y2K. Bullshit, bullshit and more bullshit, all of this is stacked on top of more bullshit. Its the same thing as saying the world will end in the yeah 9999 because the earth or the technology cant handle rolling over to 10000. I have been hearing about this subject so much recently that its starting to piss me off. Don't get me wrong I'm not mad at anyone on here but more or less I am mad at the people as a whole for even considering some ficticious piece of bullshit like this. Also if the world were to end in 2012 it would be nothing but a complete fluke just like an untrained person hitting a rabbit with a rifle from the hip several times over while both the rabbit and person were moving... also at least one of the rabbits would live.
I know this reads a bit like a hate speech but thats more or less what it is because I hate things people make up like Y2K.

1)Uwe Bowl would stop making movies and shoot himself for being so stupid
2)Paris Hilton with the help of the infinite magical power of Sauron will finaly forge a brain for herself
3)Paris Hilton will actualy be a beatifull down-to-earth-girl
4)Jews would shut the fuck up about WWII cause the polish got it worse and you don't hear them complaining. +the jews are the richest minority in the world.....the cunts
5)The hungarians would shut the fuck up about Transivanya.....ai naibii bozgori
6)Nintendo will stop making games about Mario Sonic Zelda and Metroid
7)The WII will become a real console

9)The retarded war betwen XBOX360 and PS3 owners will stop and everyone realises that they are both great consoles although none of them can compare to the PC (yeah I said it)

12)America and Rusia would become the best alies and together they will make the world a better place

Well according to the Doomsday argument [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomsday_argument] it's bound to happen sooner or later... Not that I've ever thought that that theory held up in the face of the all powerful common sense .

But seriously, it's probably nothing... Err, there isn't by any chance, something big scheduled for that day is there? Like a space launch, or a particle experiment, a major peace conference involving all the world leaders..?
