Fun but it didn't draw me in, would be fun with friends though.
BTW didn't it seem odd that they had time to set up several "safe" house type things if they are trying to leave the city? Surely instead of setting up these points, you would just leave the city, seriously why?

Because you need time to recover and reload. Humans need to rest, the undead don't.

I expect if there's a zombie apocalypse going on, the survivors have already been driven to this area of the city by the general horrors going on elsewhere. Can you imagine? You're starting out in a relatively safe place? I'd hate to see what the rest of the city is like, and I probably will on my way to the rescue zone.

Also, I figured safe houses might have belonged to other survivors too.

I really don't feel any attraction towards that game. I don't know much about it (and please correct me if what I'm about to say is wrong) but from what I've seen, it just looks like a simple multiplayer shooter to me. I'll wait for Res. Evil 5 to quench my zombie murdering thirst, it looks a HELL of a lot more interesting and complex.

i cant wait, i preorderd it for the 360 and my roomate and I cant wait. only problem is the game comes out a week before finales so once i get it i doubt ill be playing it alot until december 11th. Also are any of you guys gonna post your 360 gamer tag on here?

Just the PC, there's no known PS3 release yet. At least, not as far as I know.

One question: Do you have to play it online? That sounds like a recipe for disaster for me - I really dislike co-operative multiplayer.

Nope, you can play single player if you want to. You can even try the single player out in the demo, too.

Although the game is probably at its best when you have 3 other buddies playing with you, I've also went through the single player demo portion on expert about 3 times now.

I cancelled my GoW 2 pre-order and replaced it with a left4dead one. However, the first thing I do when I get it is search for a replacement pack on fpsbanana or something, as most of the sounds, models are just borrowed from other Valve games.
