Well I can't fault him for speaking the truth.... :D
that he's a prick for 9-11?
The article just says that he "watched a documentary on 911" and "called obama a prick in an email." It doesn't say he "called obama a prick BECAUSE of 911."

I like that idea, but it's fantasy. If this guy really wanted to kill me, he could. He had guns, but he knew I lived in a gun heavy area too. He would probably block off the exists and light my house on fire, at least that's what I would do.
Maybe I would get lucky and he would be too dumb to think of that.
Well, this isn't the old west, and blocking the exits to someone's house tends to make noise. Ya know? You're on the right track though, thinking of his moves first, is the way to stay alive. Of course, this whole conversation is fantastical, but I've always been of the mind that in a situation where my life is on the line, I'd rather not hinge my fate on waiting for the cops to get there, to make sure I'm safe. Having a plan for the interim is pretty important. Always have an out, and always have some kind of knife handy. Knives are utilitarian first and foremost, but also a small form of protection. Again, hypothetically speaking, since I know my house better than some would-be killer, I'd wait in a place that gives me an opening/element of surprise. Just because they have a gun, doesn't necessarily mean it's all over. It probably does, but...it's not 100% certain lol.
Derelix is suffering from Last Man On Earth syndrome like in World War Z, let him be.
Not sure what that is but I'm pretty sure your just mad that my personal experience doesn't fit with the "research" you did online.
I can find you a nice article on the interweb about how energy is all around us and how you can use it to cure any disease. Want to read?

EDIT: Just looked it up, pretty sure you called me a zombie and that's racism....I think.

Aren't you? After all I'm just a subroutine that exists within a computer network, there's no way that my understanding of the law could be informed by actual experience or study, let alone my understanding of humans in general.

Hell I went through five permutational evolutions just conceptualizing this post. You could be a duck-merkin for all I know.
"computer network?"
Not sure what all that fancy speak way but I'm pretty sure you just called me gay or insulted my mother. I demand that you create a physical form so we can fight to the death.
We shall battle, FOR THE MOUNTAIN!

I refuse, for all I know you could be Belarus's President, and I've always wanted to visit your fine country.
Actually I'm the emperor of all humans and I cannot tell a lie.

Man I didn't think George Bush could work a toaster let alone a computer. Did you get my shoes in the mail? I figured it would be more efficient than driving to Crawford and hucking them at you.

So a nation that guarantees the freedom to say what we please restricts a man who speaks his mind? Hypocritical.

Love how Obama acts nice on camera but we can clearly see the man doesn't have a sense of humor. Had that been me I'd have been laughing my ass off, then I would invite the man to have dinner with my family in the White House.
love how you didn't read anything and you made wild assumptions. Very clever.
I beg your pardon, but I did read it. The man is from Britain, posted an insulting E-mail to Barack Obama after watching a 9-11 video, and was contacted by the Metropolitan police saying that he'd been banned from the US.

I'll admit 2/3 of the post was my opinion, but my first point is perfectly fine.

The man was clearly inebriated as no one would be stupid enough to threaten a world leader in a traceable E-mail. It sounds to me like a very honest and stupid mistake on his part, maybe a fine is necessary but saying that the man is prohibited from a certain corner of the Earth is a tad bit extreme.
nice that you read it after i replied but your original post was that obama has no sense of humor for "banning" this guy. Obama had nothing to do with it.
Now who's making assumptions? I read it the second I clicked on this thread. Even though the FBI placed the ban, I think the Commander in Chief is in a position to lift such a ban. He failed to prevent the punishment of an innocent man. Simple as that.

You done trolling? If your best insult is you claiming that I didn't click on a link, then I'd like to take my business elsewhere.

He was an idiot. But thats harsh. If America banned people for being idiots we would lose 2/3rds of our population.

Innocent by what measure? Innocent in that he contacted a Foreign Head of State through a medium which is public record and insulted him? Potentially threatened him? The kid isn't innocent, I would argue that he acted without malice, but he's still a moron, and still deserves to be punished. As to disallowing him to enter the country, as I've stated before that's at the discretion of the State Department and assorted other agencies.

Bad puns aside, this is hilariously ridiculous. Shouldn't the US free speech thing apply to everyone?
But it was amusing nevertheless. Well played, FBI. I wonder if the people offering Obama viagra and a free college degree receive bans too...
lol, you are amazing.

but now i can't say anything about this without being overshadowed by him...
its not a competition, im sure u will shine regardless.

This is why drinking is bad, kids. One day, you'll wake up next to a burly 'lady' named Nancy and permabanned from America.

A drunk one. Anywho, I don't know how it works, but I wouldn't be surprised if enough keywords were automatically flagged in the email, and someone just decided to ban him for that.
LoL, maybe it's just because I'm from America and well, won't soon forget those events, and who was in charge during that timeframe. Personally though, from what I read there are roughly 60 ways to be banned from the country, they apparently don't make that list available to the public. Either way, I'm kinda curious to see the contents of the email now hah.
I'm here, too, but I don't think 9/11 is something to dwell on. Remember, yes, but to cite current events, not something to hate a whole religion for.

Anyways, I'd love to see that list. Shouldn't we know why people can be prohibited from visiting our country?

Stupidity is a very poor trait to have, but being stupid does not equate to being guilty. It's poor judgement of course, I'm not saying he shouldn't be punished, but I believe the punishment they chose was too extreme.

Not fair. Is their country though and they can kick out who ever they like. Unless it was an American. I wonder what they would have done if it was an American? Fine them?
makeing Terrorstic threats is a bit harsher then a fine.
I got the feeling it wasn't a terror threat. Did he say he would blow up someone or something? I thought he just ranted with some swear words.
its what he would get charged with because he made a threat to a public government figure(proving there was intent behind the threat is another matter left to the media)

but if there baring a guy from the country what do you think they would do to a guy they can get a hold of?

I don't think that it's at all fair, but I do find it hilarious that someone was basically permabanned from America for abusive language.
while it is funny for sure, that they actually went to the trouble for this, its kinda unfair and way harsh, i mean the guy sounds apologetic and he isn't some crazy ass terrorist so i think they could've worked it out when they went that far to get back at ONE GUY with the big ass ban hammer we have..
