I have it, I'm aware of it, and I love it! Mwuhahaha*cough*ha*cough*

Seriously, there's nothing I like more than restarting a game each time I learn something new while playing and thus creating a better character. And I especially love character creation tools that make a "dice roll rumble" noise!

Elder scrolls five is approaching? Since when? Where can I get it and will it involve hostages?

Seriously I've been waiting for TES5 for so long. The fourth was a great game, I have about 7 characters all at a minumum of lv 14, and my highest at 40-something, all but two major skills maxed out.

In Fallout 3 I have created 4 characters but I have beat the game.

First character sucked so I had to restart just to advance in the game.
Second character I beat all quests got to level 20 and beat first two DLC's.
Third character I made for achievements,
and the fourth I made for the "perfect" play through.
Does that count?

Ummm you see Elder Scrolls 5 isnt steadily approaching. Bethesda made an announcement several weeks ago that currently they are unsure whether they will ever make an Elder Scrolls 5. I know I am sad as well

Well that answers the question I was going to ask. Honestly, I can't see them not making it though. I can only imagine the amount of money that the series generates.

On Topic: I have a mild case. I currently have a save on Oblivion right at the sewer gate though so I can just make my new character there and be on my way rather than having to do the prologue again.

Pshhh, I had it before anyone...well...anyone who got it from Morrowind. My main character's skills have varied greatly, but now has a general set (longsword, illusion, restoration, spear). He has changed often though still, as has his story. So have my other characters. It annoys the hell out of my brother though how I always delete stuff just to start over (not just in TES games)
But I have beaten Oblivion...just alot.

There are a few places and characters in games where you can edit your characters apperence and states.

I'm only talking about Fallout 3 which would probably give you a fast and loose control on technology (i.e. everything) as in Rivet City there is the android 'plastic surgeon' where you can adjust your looks.

While you can't drastically change your stats, you can read the books in game or, if running on a computer, use script to change anything.

I... did. To an extent. Then I found my niche in Oblivion and whenever I start over a character (which I do if I haven't played in months and lost track, or if I've found a game-changing new mod) I always play my Zephyr class.

I haven't found my niche in Fallout 3 yet, but when I do, it'll probably be the same way for FO3 as TES4.

I only have a few characters in Oblivion. One was my main that completed every quest, but that was on a different profile. Then I had 2 that were just crappy experiments, and now I have settled with my final Oblivion character on my new profile.

I've had tons of characters in Fallout 3. I'm currently playing my neutral character, but once I finish that I'm going to make an evil character and then a good character. I'm going to finally get the level 30 achievements using them, rather than abandoning them half-way through.

When I didn't like how my character looked I just used console commands to change it.

And if someone you like dies, you could just load up a previous save...

Minor case..

Have you ever restarted you game to create a new character because you didn't like the way he/she looks? No

Have you ever restarted you game to create a new character because you didn't like your characters race? Yes

Have you still not beaten The Elder scrolls 4? No i have beaten it, but i still haven't beaten Elder scrolls 3 because of Bethesda Syndrome!

Have you still not beaten Fallout 3? Yes i have, but i restarted a friends' account, because his build sucked.

I've yet to complete Oblivion or Fallout 3, but I honestly intend to any time now, really! This is less to do with my enjoyment of the games and more to do with the bit where I've started probably a dozen titles that I've yet to actually finish, and I honestly couldn't tell you why since they are all titles I find highly enjoyable. Something always seems to come up and then I'm playing something else!

Right now I'm ostensibly playing The Secret of Monkey Island, Prototype, Dead Space, Bioshock, and The Witcher (which is the only one I've actually finished before, but now I'm playing through with the Enhanced Edition), and I'm in the middle of a whole bunch of other games I just haven't gotten back to yet. I really need to just force myself to do one thing at a time.

Restarted a game once, but that was it. I love the games, don't get me wrong, but I haven't restarted over the look of a character, but that I didn't know how to level my character properly in ES4 Oblivion.

I'm completely obsessed with making the perfect character. Perfect looks, perfect name, beyond perfect stats. I just can't stop myself. *goes to cry in a corner while rocking back and forth*

I restarted my fully completed fallout 3 game because Eulegy jones's whore that you can buy mystically dissappeared.
