Poll: Can We Please Just Stop with the Modern Warfare 2 Whining?

It seems everywhere I look, I see people whining about Modern Warfare 2. The dedicated servers and other missing features on the PC, the no-party-chat on 360, etc. Listen, I get that you're worked up. I get that maybe you don't agree with IW's decisions. And you know what? it's fully within your rights to not buy the game. But PLEASE, can we stop whining about all the missing features on comment threads and forums? We get that it pisses you off, but it's been getting on my nerves, especially when these people say stuff such as "Don't buy the game because I don't like that they did this so you shouldn't buy it." If you don't like it, it's your problem. However, I'm going to buy it, and I'm going to have a blast playing it. You can go and not play it, but you're deluding yourself if you think that you can get enough people to not buy this game to actually impact the amount this game is going to sell. But this could just be my crazy opinion, so what do you think?

Yes, please stop whining. For once, I'd like the PC gamers to act like the tough boys they claim to be and just suck it up.

I'm sorry but why make a thread about it and yes we are whining so what we are whining for what we have had given t o us and what were are entitled to get our moneys worth out of it.

Also it is a gaming forum we will talk about what ever gaming agenda is the spotlight.

I really don't mind it for a very simple reason.

Laughing at people who just a month or two ago were praising the game, now bashing the game. It's so hilarious, it can't be described with words. I myself never had any plans on buying it to begin with anyways.

I've noticed that too. I mean, I boycott the game, but at least I acknowledge that, despite my outrage over the lack of party chat, the game itself will be awesome, and I'm just not getting it because I don't want to encourage that as opposed to because I think the game will be bad. But all the people who now act like the game will suck in a vain attempt to reassure themselves that they're making the right decision is actually quite funny.

Once gamers get hooked on something, they continue with it for as long as it is possible to drag it out, or until they realise that what they are whining about doesn't matter or they got the wrong opinion of it. (I include myself, I get hooked up on all sorts of stupid ass shit)

Also, expect the sun to explode before they realise they are wrong or that it doesn't matter.

So while I'm annoyed with it, it happens so often I've gotten used to it, and enjoy either joining the debate if I care about the game, or observing the debate if I don't.

Go with the flow, and wait until you see the shitstorm ME2 is gonna kick up.

I'm not boycotting it, I'm just not buying it. They've done some pretty stupid things with it and I was never going to buy it in the first place. I don't mind people whining about it, I just wish that people defending the game would have gotten that worked up when the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott was announced. At least the Modern Warfare 2 boycott has structure and reason behind it.

I'm not buying it either, it's not that I didnt like CoD4 or that I have a problem with no dedicated servers, its just that I don't care, what the game has, has been done and better, it's really not that special.

Yes, I agree with that. As much as I agree with those who're whining, only because I see Activision/Infinity Ward's colossal dick moves as the forbearing of future gamer butt rape and not because I actually give a shit about MW2; I have to say it's getting tiresome. If I see another thread about MW2, I swear I'm going to go out and buy the game for the sole purpose of beating someone to death with it.

Not to be a smart ass or anything, but it is fully within your rights to just ignore them or not get on the internet... I get sick of all the people bitching about games that get delayed 3 hours (mostly on Steam, not getting unlocked right when they said it would), and I've learned to just ignore it...
