Fine fine. I'm sorry. Sometimes my hate for her gets the better of me.PayJ567 said:I'm sorry is you're opinion relevant on whether or not she was a success musically? I don't like her music but if she made alot of money and alot of albums and alot of people bought those albums then she was a success musically.Rakkana said:Have you heard her music???? In what universe is that good music???PayJ567 said:She must of done well musically as she made a fuck load of money and was all over the radio all the time.Rakkana said:I don't know a single person who likes her. I don't understand why anybody would. And I promise it has nothing to do with her looks.PayJ567 said:I think Amy Whinehouse is proof you don't have to be. Not saying I like her music but she seemed to do ok for an ugly disgusting crackwhore.
I fail to see what your opinion on her music has to do with it? Same as mine has nothing to do with it. I've already said I don't like it twice.
Financially and musically are different. Financially, sure she made a shit ton of money. That's got little to no connection with how successful she was in terms of music, which is not measured in sales or money or even popularity.PayJ567 said:I'm sorry is you're opinion relevant on whether or not she was a success musically? Ever heard of Mama Cass, or Grace Slick?A-Heart-Of-Gold said:I have been thinking about this for a while. Most artists and singers who have record deals are beautiful, gorgeous, cute... whatever you want to call it.
So is it possible if you look like nothing special?
Is it possible to create a career when you don't look like Taylor Swift or one of Girls Aloud and will it make it harder for you to do that?
Or is it nothing to do with looks in the Music business and more to do with the fact that you can sing or not?
