No. I do not fear death. Although I find life enjoyable in many ways, I wouldn't mind it if life decided to jump off a bridge. Overrated, if you ask me. But also underrated. Meh. I do think that the world would be a much less fun place without me in it, and I guess I don't want that for those I care about..
P.S. I am not one of those religious freaks who cling to whatever hope they can, I believe life ends at death. (I think there might be something about that in the definition of death... something about life ending? seriously. That hard to comprehend people?)

I KNOW NO FEAR

but really, I don't fear death, but what I do fear is pain and torture that can come before it. Like being on fire. I fear the burning not the dying part

As over-rated as life is, I feel some kind of fear of not knowing what comes next. Could be nothing, I hope it's not nothing, nothingness is boring.

I don't fear the death, I fear how I reach death.

Also that dude with a sickle is pretty much awesome. We played this chess game once. He airstriked the board before I could checkmate him.

Seems most people are afriad of the whole "Dying" part than death... Really? This many people don't feel anxiety, saddness, or fear of everything being gone... Hmm...

I wrote a verrrrry sarcastic reply to this. Then I told myself you must be just speaking ironically.
My death will be regrettable, I feel that my particular bundle of sensory perceptors have a very good sense of humor that could keep me occupied for eternity. Srsly. You should spend a minute inside my head. It's fun.

As a martial artist, I had to conquer my fear of death long ago. I'm very much at peace with the fact that I'm going to die some day, and that all my accomplishments will lose all meaning as I head for whatever new plane of reality or reincarnation awaits me.

My idea of "Not believing in afterlife" is a dark void of nothingness... That's all the more reason to fear the end... Yours might be diffrent though.
"Dark void of nothingness" Poetic, no? But ultimately meaningless since no afterlife means you don't exist, you won't experience any of that rot. The human mind has trouble imagining its own death. Closest it gets might be zen exercises, but I doubt if this comes close.

I find the idea of simply ending comforting. Much more comforting than the eternal existence offered by most religions.

It's not the dying that bothers me so much as how long you stay dead for.
Pretty much this.
Just knowing that i'll be gone well.. forever, kinda creeps me out a bit, the thought of not being able to think anymore is unsettling.

I wouldn't say i fear death, but I'm not exactly excited about it.

I'm just afraid what happens after death.
This...I fear oblivion.....That is why I hope that god is real because I so fear oblivion that it is a horrible, crippling fear. This doesn't affect my activities but still.

Don't get me wrong, I'm borderline on this topic. I am very intregued by death, although I am not one that likes eternal peace, I like to see things happen. (Yes, I do have morals on this... Uhm.. Is keeping the children locked in the basement/torture chamber morally questionable...?) So "The dark void of unpoetic nothingness" is not appealing to me...

I don't think people are so scared of dying itself, more of the possibility of never existing. Also never getting laid again (cookie to person who gets the reference).

Unless its death by drowning or torture of something. That would be a horrible way to die.

no, partly because That dude with the scythe is one of my employees. He currently dominates the entire fashion market with a 10% Commission on every skirt and dress sold
