Poll: Do you girls get annoyed with low life guys online??

Ugh yes they can. I played some stupid ass browser based simulator called cybernations and seemed to be on of the three guys on there that didn't stop and bow down to girls. It was so ridiculous that in one alliance's channel we were all playing around and having fun with this bot, but then some girl didn't like it, so everyone decided to hate it, call it stupid, and banned it. They sided with her on everything and she always got her way because she was a girl (and also a *****).
During the rare times when I play games online, like L4D, and I find out I'm playing with a girl, I always react the same way: *hears female voice* "oh, it's a girl playing. cool." *goes back to playing*

I definitely would.... if I was female. Man the internet basically BREATHES middle-aged lowlife douchebags. Not so many on this site. Except maybe Chosen54 (WE GET IT YOU DON'T LIKE ZYNGA!)
I don't harass girls online. At most I mute the ones with the "I won't waste my time with you low-life males" ego.
To be honest I've seen more of them than guys who harass girls. But both instances happen, and I wouldn't want to be involved in either of them. It would be funny though if some of the girls harassed are actually 12-13 year old boys on Xbox LIVE.

Ahh yes, girls and xbox live. I honestly don't know why you bothered with a poll as I'm sure any reasonable person agrees this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
This reminds me of a story though. I was playing Halo 3 with a female friend from America and some other guy joined us through matchmaking. We did some matches together and he started asking her questions. Not too personal but before long he was asking if she was single and where she lived. He then went all out and started asking her to meet him, other guys in the same match heard this and starting paying him out, saying how pathetic his attempts were and to leave her alone. The moral here is that there will always be a vocal minority but the majority are reasonable and polite. Sadly they're also the quietest so you don't hear about them as much.

I am equally disturbed by this, in addition to racist slurs. I don't however know if it is worse when these folks (it is indeed usually, if not always, men) say it to the recipient of the comments or when they wait for them to leave. On the one hand, they should not be rude when others are simply trying to enjoy their game; on the other hand, they should say something so we all know who to mute...

Any thing that follows this statement is going to be racist 100% of the time. It's not just men from a certain place that are pigs towards women; people from everywhere treat women poorly. There are many reasons for it- internet anonymity, shitty father/mother/friends, etc.Daedalus1942 said:

I've had my share of people insulting me for not being male online, or hitting on me. I've learned it's best to just keep my mic off.

On Topic: I don't really talk to girl gamers all that much. Not because I am shy or anything but because whenever I play a multiplayer game I make sure to either mute everyone I am playing against or be in party chat with friends. Yes, there are some people who don't act immature on x-box live but I would rather take the chance in muting them rather than having to listen to them.
I admit, I see a girl on Live and I'm like "wow, a girl on live, not another 12 year old, I am fucking shocked" but I don't believe I've ever asked someone their breast size, nor do I think I'd really want to, that'd just be strange.

Even as a male I concur to this. The innumerable hordes of whiny snotty "wigger" brats on both console and PC online FPSes are just intolerable. Or any game for that matter.
