Whenever I can. As long as it doesn't choke/hurt/strangle me. I can't stand a twisted seatbelt, I'd pull over just to untwist it. Also I don't wear it when I'm parking and reversing or when I'm turning myself (not the car) around to sort out the people annoying me in the back seats.

All I have to say is, you are an idiot not to.

For every, "My friends, Dad's, brother would have died if he had worn a seatbelt." story you hear there are probably about 500 "If they had worn a seat belt, they would still be with us." stories.

I am glad to see that the polls show that most of you escapists are not complete idiots. To the rest of you... I hope you are into some extreme sports, otherwise you are just risking death pointlessly.

All the time, and for good reason. I was with a friend Friday and we got slammed by a pick-up hauling a giant-ass trailer. We had our seatbelts, we were smart.

Rolled my Pontiac Bonneville back in August 2005. Had it on then and it saved my life. Still wear it today. That's one of the laws here in the states that I wish more ppl would obey. It saves lives in my opinion. Still I know there differing thoughts on the subject.

I don't. Not because I think it's "uncool" though, it's because I'm the most lazy entity in the universe.

Im not going to get a $200 ticket to wear something that I don't really need but it protects me.

SO yes. Yes I do...all the time.

Absolutely yes all the time. The only exception is when i'm in a parking lot going from one store to another, IE from video store to grocery store. But short of that I am really a fan of my face. I would much rather it remain where it is that splatered on the side of a bank, or on some pavement, or lodged in a pipe.

Hi, I'm over three hundred-fifty pounds, so seatbelts do not fit me.
They make seatbelt extenders for people like you.

I always wear mine and it has saved my life when I was in an accident. My parents taught me well, "If you don't have a seatbelt on when I slam on the brakes you will fly through the windshield and die, and if the first impact doesn't kill you, you will get hit by another car and that will kill you so remember to wear your seatbelt." I was around 6 when they first told me that, such lovely parents (hey it worked).
