If I was, say, Paris Hilton, and saw the s"Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset" episode, I might shed a tear or something, if not because I'd be sensitive, because of the image of putting a pineapple up my...

I love the show. It's funny as hell without relying on spewing random crap to produce humor. The only thing that made me slow down for even half a second was when they had Scott Malkinson(sp?) featured during the HSM parody, just because I'm diabetic too. But I was still able to laugh about it all, so I was happy.

Well after that many posts I guess it's safe to say that only a minority of people get offended by South Park, and my response to this is... great! 8] It is cleverly funny, and equally offensive, mixing dark and light humour. I am glad to be a South Park fan

Why should I be offended by South Park? They called my country the a-hole of the world...and they're right.

Of course it isn't offensive, because it's offended everyone, it's offended religious believers and atheists whatever it makes fun of, it's made fun of the other side has well. I find it sort of artistic how many hidden references they can shove in their, just look at some of the trivia pages here: http://www.southparkstuff.com/.

It's a good show.. from the episode I saw, where there were women queefing, men farting, aliens and a little toy car.

It confused me for days.

Anyone that finds South Park honestly offensive needs a swift kick in the balls followed by several months in a mental institution.

Even if you don't find it funny, all of its material is obviously meant as a joke, and anyone that gets offended at a joke has something wrong with them.
That's a bit much. It IS offensive, regardless of whether or not it offends you or I, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say they opine to some extent. While they don't mean to make someone outraged, they work with shock value consistantly.

And no, it does not mean you are crazy if a joke offends you. That's absurd. A joke can offend. Just because you have built up a desensitized mindset, doesn't mean everyone has. Some people just can't laugh at some things, because some things are just too touchy.

Anyone who is offended at a joke, especially one obviously not meant maliciously, needs to get their head examined. I don't care who you are.

I could see getting up in arms over a joke at someone's expense that was intended to belittle someone. That I can fully understand, though I don't agree, and if people want to do that, that's there business.

South Park's humor is fairly obviously meant to poke fun at what Parker and Stone perceive as stupid. It's fairly obvious they don't mean any harm by it.

I stand by what I said. If you are offended by South Park, or any joke, you need to get your head examined. People getting outraged over harmless fun is a large part of what is wrong with society.

Yes.

There are things you can jest about, and there are things you stfu about. South Park's writers are either deliberately being assholes with this or they don't know at all when they overstep the boundaries by miles.

(Family Guy and a third show I don't remember the name of are also guilty of this)

Don't find it offensive but it sometimes it relies too much on an abstract plot, contreversial humor and jokes that just get laughs for going on for ages; thus why I can dislike South Park on certain occasions.

You can't feel offended by South Park!? That's just not possible xD
Who'd take humor that seriously ?!? That kind of humor can't/mustn't be taken serious at all... 'Cept for those times where they've actually got some kind of message.
Like in the Simpsons when Homer couldn't vote for Obama xD

While it doesn't really offend me, it also isn't very good most of the time. Though, I did like that episode about High School Musical. "Why can't you guys just FUCKING talk!?!?!"
