You want to respond aggresively? Here, let me match your speed (in no particular order):

I'm completely over you trying to parent me online.
Lol, parent you? No my friend, I'm not trying to parent you. I honestly couldn't care less if you were to get put on probation or suspended/banned for your constant aggression on these forums. I was simply providing a friendly reminder of how this website operates. That's all I've
been doing since I first quoted you. Ever since then I've been defending my opinion (and the facts I've used to support them) with reasonable arguments (something you seem to fail at doing). You say you don't want to be parented, yet you respond to other members with a knife at their throat (that's a figure of speech by the way, in case you weren't aware). Do you see the hypocrisy in your actions?

Our opinions? who is our opinions? You think there aren't aggressive people on the other side of this argument?
First off, "our opinions" was a generalization (you should probably go look up what that means if you're going to make assumptions whenever I use one), a nod to how the human race is, at the very least, recommended (or asked, if you prefer) to act toward one another. There are always going to be aggresive people on any side of an argument, the whole idea is to rise above that. And to address the same sentence once more:

You think there aren't aggressive people on the other side of this argument? A lot of them actually having a go at other users instead of just just defending.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that I was on the Lemming & Sheep magazine website, where every person follows the other blindly off a cliff.
Someone asked you to provide a refutable defense to your blatant comments about the franchise, and instead you were insulted at the fact that the person was acting like a smartass. In fact, You still have yet to provide any reasonable argument, all you've been saying is "I stand by what I said, pokemon sucks because it sucks!" That's not a reasonable argument. That's an opinion trying to blanket everyone elses.

Doesn't bother me because I just ignore them,
So now you're lying. Cute.

but you are going into a bit of effort to tell me what is acceptable to 'you' which isn't the rule on the Escapist (even though it seems you wish it was so).
So, do you like to make shit up as you go along, or did you just kind of waltz into the Escapist without reading the rules? Here, let me point you in the direction of the rules, in case it's the latter.
This one was written by the Community Manager, Kuliani:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.116826-These-forums-and-you-Forum-Posting-Guidelines
This one was written by a user (for users), but has become an accepted, simplifed translation of the rules amongst the mods (including Kuliani; he even has a link to it in his guide):
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.112832-The-Banhammer-and-You-A-Users-Guide-to-the-Forums
This one was written by Claymorez (a member of the Red Guard, a community-based Neighborhood Watch, as Kuliani's description states), and is basically an index with links to all the rules, guidelines, and FAQ's for new members.
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.202272-The-Escapist-Community-and-Forums-Codex-Index-Guides
The first two are the accepted rules, in black and white. If you actually take the time to read them from beginning to end (which it seems you have a hard time doing), everything I've said about the etiquette in these forums is written there, plain as day.

You can bash 'things' as long as you give reasons, that's usually how you start an argument. Homosexuals aren't things, they're people, bashing people is trolling, trolling bad.

Yes, I'm aware that situation is much more extreme, but the basic principle still stands. You don't do that.
Is it fun watching my point as it flies by your head? I've always wondered. Let's use your logic (again). I'm allowed to bash your opinion and say that it's a stupid opinion that should die in a fire because I disagree with it. Or to use my example again, I'm allowed to bash homosexuality as long as I don't include people in my bashing...tch, sorry boyo, but the one who is "Wrong!" in this case is you, because either case would lead to mod wrath regardless of what I say (and in the real world I'd probably get my ass kicked). Again, take the time to learn the rules before you indirectly mislead some poor fool with you misinformation into saying something he shouldn't.

Let me make this clear, your making a mountain over a mole hill and I'm not changing how I convey my argument. I have every right to attack what ever 'thing' I want.
Ooh, a metaphor! Listen, one person's mole hill is another person's mountain. Sorry to have to repeat myself (again...not my fault if you don't get my point though), but just because
you don't see significance in what you or the person you're defending is saying, doesn't mean noone else does, either. The whole point of my argument is about -drum roll...again-
respect. If someone was bashing something you had a great appreciation for, you would want them to show respect for your opinion and anyone else's that disagrees with them. Same case here, only reversed.
By all means, keep going with the idea that you are allowed to attack any 'thing' you want. Don't be surprised the day that you are suspended/banned for your "aggresive" comments...or the day you get your ass kicked, if this is how you "argue" in real life as well.
