Wouldn't have enough time to lob it back, I think.

they teach soldiers to get on the ground facing the oppisite direction and hold thier legs together so no shrapnel goes through thier vitals and surprisingly it is supposed to increase you chances of survival to 90%

take cover option? If I saw the grenade there I'd make sure something or someone was between it and me.

Flashbang - fingers in ears, eyes closed, run away/take cover
Smoke - retreat to a better position, taking cover. Things are about to get hairy.
Frag - Scream, run and hide.
Incendary - Burn and die.... failing that, call the fire brigade or grab an extinguisher.
Nail bomb - Where's that damn claw hammer...
Lemon grenade - eww... i want a shower.
Pipe bomb - Run after it, fighting to claw pointlessly at it and then blow up... oh hang on.. not a zombie yet...

That depends.

Most likely I'd just stare at it until it went off. Seriously, who WOULDN'T be shocked if a grenade landed in front of them?

Assuming I collected my wits in time, I wouldn't lob it back, as you might throw it right in front of someone else. I'd take cover behind something solid (if there was anything nearby), or better yet, jump in a ditch. My final resort if neither cover nor ditches were nearby would be to run for two seconds and lie down as quickly as possible, legs together, feet pointed at the grenade. Hopefully, any shrapnel would pass by me or at least miss my head/torso. If it didn't go off, in any scenario, I'd count to 60, to make sure, then call the police, while staying in the general area to warn off anybody who comes by. If anybody was nearby when I first saw the grenade, I'd yell "Bomb, GET DOWN!", in case there was somebody who didn't know what a grenade is.

Stupid Move of desperation: Kick it away.
HOW SO?
They don't explode on impact, and kicking is faster than throwing, it makes it go further away that running, so therefor you kick it and run like hell.

Dive away as far as possible. Hopefully that'll take me out of the range of the explosion and send most of the shrapnel flying over my head as opposed to several inches inside it.

Use my gravity gun to pick it up in midair and launch it back

Yell "grenades are for noobs"

Duck behind cover,or if theres no cover kick it and run.Professional soccer players sometimes miss a freaking soccer ball, so I wouldn't exactly risk a grenade shuffling under my feet if i could just hide somewhere.Trust me you can run and dive into a dumpster full of needles when filled with adrenaline faster then you think, your motor skills however become dampened.

If I'm close to a solid obstacle (cement blocks etc.) then I would hide behind that.. nothing solid nearby? kick/throw it one direction.. run the other.

It would be way too risky to lob it back and to be honest my first instinct would be to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE! I mean, if I'm in a place where grenades are flying around I don't want to be there.

Turn and run as fast as i could and hoping i would be as far away for when it goes off. Maybe i would survive.
