I think age would greatly factor into it. If the guys is in high school or college going years then I think alot of girls probably wouldn't mind, it's a pretty common occurance. Now get a guy in his mid to late 20's or older then.... yeah maybe. Not just because he wouldn't know what to do, but for a girl the taking of ones virginity is usually a bigger deal then it is for a guy. At least amongst the circle I hang out with. Girls want it to be special usually... guys just want to get the poison out. I have actually talked about this with girls in my circle of friends and they said the main reason is because they wouldn't want the responsibility and the possibility of the guys to become obsessed with them and go falling in love. Granted these particular girls are all between the ages of 24 and 30.
Also fun side note, when I was like....19, I got this older girl, she was around 22 or so to have sex with me because I said I was a virgin. I totally lied, which is a bit asshole-ish I agree now, but she was totally into it. In my defense I was pretty wasted and she was the one who decided to up and tell me she always wanted to take a guys cherry. It was probably believable, I wasn't too terribly experienced at the time and the booze has a way to make you a little less skillful seeming. God I would love to run into her again... you know, to show her how my skills have improved over the years. I'm actually adding it to the list of things I want to do before I die.... I don't even care if she loses her looks, I have a goal.

I hear this all the time, "Why do girls only like guys who are assholes?" Well, girls who have no respect or self-confidence or self-esteem believe that they can't do better. Then again, the guys usually complaining about it are the ones who don't have enough of the same elements to do any better than the girls who are only willing to deal with guys who treat them like shit! It's a hilarious self-repeating process.
I don't think a girl is less likely to date you if you're a virgin or haven't been kissed, but you're sure as hell less likely to get laid. I do know they find it irritating to have to teach a guy how to kiss, but you can't really help that and shouldn't feel too badly about it.
You can feel bad about polling a website comprised of video-gamers about this though, because girls generally aren't attracted to people like that. I'll catch a lot of flak for this I'm sure, but you're better off manning up and acting like you respect yourself. Just be yourself and don't give a fuck about people who judge you and eventually you'll find a girl who respects you for it.

I voted the first option, and I don't think it matters, honestly. So what if the guy's a virgin? You get him through his rough first round and then have a bit more fun in the second round.
Seriously though, if a girl was to give a guy grief for being a virgin, she's a *****. Plain and simple. No one should sleep with a girl like that anyway. Personally, I think it would be very sweet, even cute, to be a guy's first rather than his tenth. And since girls are into the whole touchy-feely emotional thing, being sweet and cute a very good thing.
Besides, if he's a virgin you can teach him your ways and mold him to your desires like clay, mwuahahahaha!

The results so far are making me feel quite a bit better. I'd hope that it wasn't a factor, if he was actually a decent, likeable guy.
I'd rather have a guy that's a virgin than one who's slept around because the ones who sleep around aren't serious relationship material (usually) and it'll take them a while before they are. xD

As far as this poll says, it seems guys think all we care about is experience, so I would actually feel very honored if a guy could trust me enough to admit that he is a virgin and that he wanted me to be his first.
