There are some games he has pretty much ripped into which I genuinly enjoy playing. It doesn't make his reviews any less hilarious and even gets me thinking about said games. And yet, I share his hatred for QTE's. Exept the whole joyriding Harry on his glider in Spiderman 3. The only time QTE's were ever well placed.

I did. It is now 100 x 100 in size!

It's a bit grainy, but I shall try to improve it a bit[/quote]

WHAT? Since when can it use larger than 75x75?! How did you do this?

isn't this a re post? there's been... let me go to the search bar and count... hold on.... its loading.....slow ass computer..... ah here we go!..... oh shit.... none are listed... but i know i've seen them dammit!!

He brings up a good point, but quite often what he describes as not fun is moderate, and fun to a different audience (and in his mind, were the audience of raving monkeys who buy shit just for the fact to own it.) i highly disagree with most things in his review, cause hes a comedian, not a true critic in a normal sense. he "may" "Critique" games. buts its just a comedy routine.

Who is this yhatzee all the people here talk about?
Check videos for Zero Punctuation. Ben Yhatzee Croshaw presents it. This be the legend everyone speaks of.

You have to remember that Zero Punctuation is for entertainment and whatever game he reviews is usually not as bad as he claims. He nitpicks more than pretty much any other reviewer out there because we demand it of him. That doesn't mean he is always right or what he says should never be taken seriously as he does have very valid complaints from time to time. Just remember that if you are basing your purchasing decisions off Yahtzee and only Yahtzee you are not getting the point of ZP.

Yahtzee is loved because he insults games. That's what he is going to do.

Occasionally. I normally disagree with his reviews, to different extents, but in Extra Punctuation, he brings up some very good points.

If you only buy games Yahtzee likes you'll only own about 12 games at this point.

Besides, as it was said in another thread, he isn't a reviewer. He's just an entertainer that needs to rag on games to renew his hat license.
I view Yahtzee's reviews as such: if he completely tears a game a new one (as usual), then you should laugh, take notes of the faults he mentions, and think about them before you buy the game in question. You most certainly shouldn't think that the game is as bad as he makes it out to be; his whole shtick is to blow its faults out of proportion for comedic effect.

However, in the unlikely event that he says that a game is not too bad, or even good, then you had better pay attention, because that game is something truly special, well worth your sixty bucks.

He's brutally honest when I agree with him. Seriously though, I really think he's honest, what he does is take those things that are in the back of your head nagging you and brings them to the forefront. You need a guy like this, because all the other guys are either arrogant liars or punk bitches to scared to say anything.

I am a little concerned about his America hate, though. You don't say things like 'I want a game where I can kill American troops for a change' when most of your goddamn audience(the people that made you You) are Americans who have friends and family dieing in the Mid East right now. It's petty, hurtful, and just plain stupid, and no, ten guys on this forum telling me it's not isn't going to change my mind. And I'm not 'Joe Flag Waving American' at all but I gasped at that. What happened to the Doom Fortress joke, that was funny and made me say 'Yeah we do do that don't we?' He's better than resorting to saying 'Americans are fat smelly gorillas'.

I love the dude but, man, he's gotta drop that crap, Simon Cowell couldn't get away with that shit. But hey, maybe he can. Maybe that game will come out where we get to kill are own soldiers and it'll sell 12 million copies right here in the states I'm sure the Europeans would love it.

You use too much time on the internet repeating pols, trolling, hating fanboys and reading too much into things.

It's kind of ironic how Yahtzee has grown a whole garden of fanboys of his own, not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just kind of funny.
I agree, short and simple.

This post makes no sense.

Anyone who disagrees with Yahtzee is a fanboy?

Obvious troll is obvious.
This ^

And when someone expresses his opinion so many different times on so many different things that his videos add up to well over 3 hours of commentary, it's statistically impossible that you fully agree with him on every topic. Get your own opinion.

When I think of Yahtzee, the one thing I never think to myself is "Wow, here's a humble guy"

Yahtzee is a great entertainer, but he's got arrogance oozing out of the ears.

He makes some good points, but for the most part he has completely different taste to me. Still fun to watch.

This kind of thread is so overdone.

And you're a moron if you blindly follow everything he says, although he does make some darn good criticisms at some points.

I love seeing him rip apart a game I hate though...
Hubilub said:
Sometimes.

Mostly when I hate a game. I do believe he is brutally honest most of, if not all the time, but I don't agree with him all that much.

His view on games is a bit extreme in most cases.
Dude, did you enlarge your avatar or something? It's like it's forcefully putting my eyes in a trance now...
I did. It is now 100 x 100 in size!

It's a bit grainy, but I shall try to improve it a bit
I had nothing against your avatar before....but now it's like I'm forced to look at it, it's big enough to blindside my eyes, hijack them, and go "hey bitches! LOOK HERE!"

and then I black out for a few hours....
