Mine is Taylor so it's pretty damn common and yet I kind of like it. My middle and first names on the other hand....

Mine is Pilesund, as far as i know its only the name of myself and my mother, she wanted to change when i was 5 years old from Andersson, because that was to common, she had a list of approved names and i could pick the one i wanted most, never regretted it.
I dont have anything against double names , so i hope my future kids have the name in there somewhere...

My name is Koelink, and I've got no idea what it means. It sounds like 'cool ink' though, which is awesome, given that I'm going to art school.

I've never met anyone with that name that wasn't family.

Eagle, it's pretty rare, I've never met anyone outside of my family with the surname, though I know there's a few on facebook.

Power,

fairly common where I'm from but I always get a double take when asked for it.

Once someone got it wrong over the phone and sent a bill to Mr. Tower No. 19, I was afraid to open the front door for a while when I got that.

My full name is Trivun Luzaic, which is also on my profile. So extremely unique, at least over here. I was born and raised in the UK and as far as I'm aware, apart from my immediate family there are no other people in the entire country with the surname Luzaic. It may be common in Serbia (where it originates), but since I've never been to the country I don't actually know. But in the UK it's probably the most unique surname going. From my knowledge there are only seven people with the name, and they're either me or related directly to me.

My last name's Löffler.
It's not very common in German and it's definitely unique in other languages.

Mine's Sejk (pronounced like Seyk or something with normal S like in school). I live in Slovakia, but the surname comes from Czech Republic, and, aside from my few relatives, there are only a few people that have this surname (including a famous actor from the 50's :D)

My surname is Costello, it comes from norway and has also had some italin related themes, or so I've heard. So I guess yeah its pretty unique. So far I've only seen one other user on this site that shares the same surname as me.

So how unique is your surname with regards to where you live?
Example, Chan or Salvatorei might be common surnames in some countries but might be pretty odd/unique for the one in which you live.

My name surname is Anderson... it's pretty common and dull :(
You can't escape, Mr.Anderson /Matrix reference
Anywho, my surname is pretty common in Norway, maybe in Germany as well, but I doubt it's common outside of scandinavia/germany....or do you guys know anyone called Jørgensen?
