Poll: How unique is your surname?

I live in the same suburb as someone with the same first and last name as me, and I know his son and daughter in law, both of whom have the same full names as cousins of mine.

I'm from Iceland, and my surname is Danish. Kinda sucks that way. It's Kjaernested, only the ae close together, I can't write it here since it'll come out like æ, but it's just one letter, looks like ae put together and sounds like ai or aye or something like that. Really weird, I know.

My Surname is more often seen as a first name by my group of friends. However, I have met 2-3 people with my last name outside of my family. (i say 2-3 because one of them might be a distant cousin of mine. This person is also my mom's boss)
