So true, I miss stuff like Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Megas XLR, Powerpuff Girls, My Life as a Teenaged Robot, Catdog, (old) Spongebob Squarepants, (old) Fairly Odd Parents, Rocket Power, and, although Nick has nothing to do with this, Cartoonnetwork's greatest sin: The destruction of Toonami.

It left me speechless. It also killed what was left of Cartoonnetwork.

Indeed, cartoons were much better. But I have no respect for you, because you do not know how to make a proper poll, and it ended in an extremely unfunny poll, which has nothing to do with anything.

I think cartoons took far more risks when we were kids, as such, adults were able to relate with them as well.

I think that, now that we've grown, we're able to appreciate the subtle references to more adult-oriented themes that most shows (namely, the 90's) had used so wildly, to a much greater extent.
Case in point:
You could never show this today. The mixture of pedophilia/psychotic tendencies, as subtle as they may be, would make parents break out in a cold sweat.
actually i saw that today

Yeah old stuff was better. It had plot, action, morals, and intelegents unlike this stupid crap they release now adays. Not that it is all bad. A few Gems come out like Megas (Love it) and Star Wars is okay. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles While entertaining is a shell of it's former self as are most remakes with the exception of the stuff licenced through Marvel.

And what do they replace Toonami with?
First that thing called Miguzi, then that piece of shit known as "CN Real".

Whoever thought of that should be beaten.

Yes. What time. If courage is still on the air, I want to know when.

It's okay... (Pats Blinds on the back) at least video games won't sell out right? We only have a billion space marines, Farmville, several company's that only remake the same game every year, and Lego Rock Band...
They do, but that doesn't mean I have to stop liking them, right? There are still good video games.
-We must bring the genius of Spielberg back to cartoons, it's our only chance! Hurry my old chum, to the Batmobile!
CREAM SANWICHES BATMAN! THE NEW BATMAN CARTOON IS HORRIBLE! WE CAN'T STOP IT!
I still watch it because I still needs my Batman fix. You'd think that with the Dark Knight, Batman would finally be accepted and we'd get another really good Batman cartoon. Nope!

the last good cartoons ive watched in my opinion were teen titans the first 2 seasons of danny phantom, courage the cowardly dog, and i will hesitantly add avatar the last airbender.

I miss the 90's batman the animated series. The batman the brave in the bold was ok until i noticed all the characters were worshipping batman... and the musical episode...

Seriously when you make a batman series please don't have every character yelling about how great batman is its annoying.

I like anime but im really sad that they have not dubbed the next volumes of hellsing ultimate....

Boy i miss the 90's...

In High School I used to flake on my homework to watch Batman the animated series and gargoyles. I remember the xmen series and others, but not from when I was a kid; from high school and after. Same with Samurai Jack and all the cartoon network stuff.

The ones I remember from when I was a kid are things like Gem, and He-man, and Transformers. Thundercats and Gummy Bears.

These days, I don't even know what half the stuff is out there. My daughter scoffs at Pokemon. She'd rather do her homework. Oh...except for adult swim. There's a few things on there i like.

Me too. Except for the horrible horror movies and the music. Pop music still fills me with rage to this day.

There are a few good recent cartoons (Storm Hawks, Avatar, Megas XLR), but for the most part, yeah, all the good shows are from the 90's/early 2000's.
