If you want to display a replica of the organ you use to pee and procreate around the neck, be my guest. Don't expect respect because of it, though.

Well, in general, Western society tends to have a shit ton of sexual imagery in FUCKING EVERY FUCKING THING, just nothing so overt. All that is of note is the fact that it isn't pretending it's something else, like a flower or a monument (Obelisks anyone?)

(F, 20)
Learn a little about architecture and you'll understand that towers and obelisks are that shaped so they won't blow over and, you know, kill someone not because (or at least no wholly) because some guy wanted to say he had a huge cock.
I'm just saying they could have built more pyramids. Or better yet a kiva [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiva]

Reminds me of an old 1970s feminist project, but in a mere merchandise-ornaments. Scary though that people would pay to actually have them attached to normal items you carry around.

Not surprised, don't see the point in them personally, but have no less point in my mind than many other clothing accessories. By this I mean that just as I'm not into body piercings (for example) and other people are, someone else may very well see a point in wearing some of the things from the site when I personally wouldn't. As has been already stated: "to each their own".

Disgust at something like this is a pretty immature reaction; the vulva is a thing that exists, that's what it looks like, get used to it people...

(o yeh... male, 19, currently studying psych/sexology at uni.)

Penis jokes aside, I think it's pretty stupid. I think someone's trying to be feminist, but failing miserably. Instead, they just made an unintentionally hilarious product.

PS: I'm hoping that at least one person on this site doesn't understand what this topic is about.

Some pretty weird... stuff you found there, man. And it ain't feminism. Feminism does not seek its goals by plastering this... stuff everywhere.

25% of people here chose "MY EYES?!!!"? Honestly? Are you all under 13?

I mean, I can understand thinking it's in poor taste (especially on jewelry), but it's just a depiction of a body part people. People around the world see vaginas every day without screaming in horror.

At this point, very little on the internet surprises me anymore. While I cant see this catching on and becoming a big fashion must have (though it would be absolutely hilarious if it did...) the fact that they exist is just another pleasant side effect of the internet. A physical shop that sold exclusively these products wouldn't profit much but due to the relative low cost of a website, anyone with an idea can make it.

Long story short: Yes they exist, but they really shouldn't. Maybe Lady Gaga is the money behind these, who knows...

In general that doesn't fly by me, as some kind of symbol of feminism it's even worse. Why not just wear a little wristband commemorating women's suffrage?

Still, it probably would make for a great conversational piece, like:

"So...uh, how's work Jan?"

"My handbag looks like a vagina."

"Let me see!"

I belive the proper term for the "feminists" is attention whore. These people only attach to a cause when they think it will get them more attention. I thought the goal of feminism was to gain complete equality not worship their own sexual organs....
