My first time was with someone I cared about and it was awful. First 2 or 3 times were awful.

Then suddenly it was great. Weird.

But it definitely gets better the more you are with the same person.

Still I'm glad I got that monkey off my back when I did. Someone special is great and all, but I couldn't have handled much more anticipation/nervousness.

This actually makes sence. 'Virginity' was actually a term used only for women. The ... 'snatch' of a woman has a certain membrane or ... 'seal' (so, warranty is void if seal is broken) this is the true meaning of virginity. Now that it is used to just have your 'first time' for both men and women it could count as a mental thing more than a physical thing.

So having a 'virginity' for many things actually makes some sence in it all.

It gets better later.

First time is not that fun for the woman. And really its kinda awkward at first.

That being said, it can still be very romantic. A nice night time dinner in a nice restaurant, flowers ect. Just be a gentleman.

depends on how you lose it really. If you lose it to a girl who, at the time, you really really love (even if the relationship doesn't last) then i would say that no, its not over-hyped. you'll probably have a really good time.
But just having sex with a girl who you think is kinda hot, because "everyone else is having sex"... its just not as good... or at least i can't see it being as good. i speak as if i've actually experienced this, but as of yet i still retain my 'v'.
Sounds about right, although your point of view and mine differ slightly.

It should be awesome because you should be madly in love, totally relaxed with each other, really comfortable together, sure of each other, unworried, abel to read each other really well and properly warmed up for it.

Gentlemen. Allow me to introduce a curious concept to you. It's called foreplay. There should be lots of it. For women, it can start with breakfast in bed the day before. There are mood, environment, atmosphere, surroundings, scene, general happiness with life and all the things that go into a good relationship to consider before you even get to tangling tongues.

I think for some men foreplay consists of removing trousers. Isn't it awkward getting turned on that easily when it's that obvious?

Advice to everyone: the right time is not a question of age. It's not your 15th birthday. It's not "two hours before your 16th birthday by the tennis coach's bedside clock because you wanted it to be a crime" (cookie for reference). It's not your senior prom. It's not "the first time your parents leave you alone for the weekend." It's not "age 21". For some, it's your wedding night, but it doesn't have to be at all. You don't have to rush, there's no hurry, you don't have to wait and there's no shame. The more you both want it and the more ready for it you feel, the better it'll be. Hold off until there's no doubt ...

... and ffs (literaly) take to carrying condoms around. It beats the heck out of not having any.

I was hoping for something wonderful. Instead I had an allergic reaction to the condom.
I literally spilled Coke over my PC desk after reading that.

How the hell is it even possible to have a allergic reaction to a fucking condom? And how did that turn out anyways?

Hmmmmmm.....now that I think of it I am not sure I want to know.
There's a spermicide they put on some condoms, called nonoxylnol-9, and I learned later on (strangely enough, in a Psychology Applied to Human Problems class) that apparently a very large percentage of the population is actually allergic to it. Wish I'd known that at the time, cause I was sixteen, and I really did not want my parents to know what I'd been doing when I started to break out. Oh well, I always look back and laugh now. I guess that's all one can do.

It's exactly what I expected it to be. No more, no less. I'm not one of the people that say they regret it or anything though, since that's so common when I see these threads on other forums.

I think the main problem is kids don't even think of the realistic side of it. It's not like all the stuff they watch, and so on. I can't get into much more detail on here without being modded for it though. People just tend to think it's going to be this big thing where suddenly everything is different, but you'll still be living your same life after, just like before.

sex is over hyped full-stop, but loosing your virginity is a very important milestone in your life, until it happens you always have a psychological chip on your shoulder so I think its very important.

I expected it to be average and my expectations were reached!

I lost my virginity to a boy in someone's bathroom and I lost my virginity to a girl behind a shed. It's not really that much of a big deal to me.

My body is no fucking temple haha.
It doesn't have to be, it can ba an amusement park (thats a reference if someone wants to get that)

On track again. First time, very awkward but worth anyways

It's nothing special, people think I'm literally insane when I say how long I've been without it, as I'm a good looking chap, and could probably go out and get it whenever I wanted, but I think I'd rather wait until I meet someone special. Love sounds a hell of a lot more appealing than lust.

I lost my virginity to somebody who I absolutely adored, and at the time, she adored me back. We loved each other.

I can't really say that I expected sex to be what it was like, but I enjoyed it, none the less.

It's better losing it to some one you love.

What? No it isn't, not where I live. Talking about how you had sex and showing us images of it isn't exactly the same thing. And its not like you have to describe what you did in graphic detail just to give us an idea of what happened.

Also, to the OP: Just what exactly do you define as "sex"? Their is more to sex then just the typical love making.
By the fact it is illegal I don't mean I would make it to graphic for use on this site I just mean you have to be 16 to have sex legally in England. Not that that stops many people

Also my idea of sex would be pretty much just the penetration (sorry if this is too graphic, I'm trynna keep it as clean as possible) I have a friend, also 15, and he and his girlfriend have done something involving a number 1 less than 70, amongst other things, and I would not say that they have had sex

Technically, that's just as illegal. It's illegal for people under the age of 16 to engage in any sexual activity, as per s9 Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Sexual Activity with a Child). Even if you are also under 16 (s9 applies to adults conducting sexual activity with someone 16 or less), s9 applies due to s13 SOA 2003 (Child Sex Offences committed by children or young persons). The Crown Prosecution Service generally doesn't press charges related to that if it is all consensual, but if they decided to press charges you can either be fined, or go to prison for up to 5 years.

Just thought I'd use my law post-grad knowledge to good use on the internets :p
