Are people really shocked by a change of hairdo and a removal of bulky heavy armor into something revealing? I think she still looks pretty much the same save for those two changes. Kaiden however looks strikingly different.

Anyway OT:
I'm torn on this. On the one hand it's been so long since Ashley's been in any kind of promotional information for anything to do with Mass Effect, and I had been long anticipating that I'd never see her again. To find out that there is actual confirmation that Ashley is returning, after so long fills me with joy and eagerness. Clearly staying faithful was the way to go.
On the other hand, I am a bit annoyed with how she's presented. For what it's worth I don't have a problem with the hair... you go on the bioware forums and you'll find that a good portion of the Ashley fanbase have wanted to see her wear it down for sometime now. And it would be remiss of me to complain about that when it's clear that Bioware actually does listen to requests.
That said, I'm not sure if I love the uniform. It looks too much like Miranda's catsuit. I mean all we have so far is one screenshot so god knows if this is how she'll end up looking all the way through but still, Ash doesn't usually look like this.
However while it's a bit strange, it is by no means a deal breaker for me. As long as they keep her toughened attitude, I can dig it.
Liara underwent a noteworthy aesthetical change in Lair of the Shadow Broker. I see no reason why Ash can't as well.
Could be that she's now high ranking and is wearing a casual off field uniform from the Alliance. Who knows?
As for the bazonkas, I actually don't think they are neccesarily that much larger. They just look better positioned.
For what it's worth, I always thought Ashley was sexy and cool. I can handle a little bit of fan service coming her way to make her more so. I don't feel it is required but it's also not going to be a deal breaker with me.
Physical appearance is nothing, just as long as it's the same person underneath. You can't tell that info, and after so many months of pessimism, seeing Ashley return is enough to give me hope.
One picture shouldn't ruin that for me. I'm just happy to see her return.
So yeah in total, glad she's back and I can handle a few aesthetic changes. It would take her becoming a necromorph that vomits slime before I honestly stopped finding her beautiful.
EDIT: Also can we stop with the 'hooker' comments? For one thing we don't even know what her full outfit looks like yet and frankly, it's kind of crude and even a little sexist. So what if Ashley wants to look sexy? It's her right.

Does she think geth are lesser lifeforms? Yes
Does she think killing them off will free her from her second skin prison? Yes. Wait, maybe. Kinda.. I mean-
Has she ever met one that didn't want to kill her? NO
I think you can see the reason Tali's racism is understood better. It's not just her upbringing and environment. Every single time she met a geth they wanted to kill her. Ever. Single. Time.
Until Legion none of you would've given two shits about genocide of the geth. Why? Becuase they're trying to kill you!! GET 'EM DEAD! XD
Look, not to derail the thread, but Tali calls the psycho admiral that promotes slavery "insane", and now that she's working with Legion and listening to a (hopefully) Paragon Shep, her views will change too.
Ash should've gotten over her racism by now, and in my opinion, as Christian myself her character is fucking insulting. You can't be Christain and a racist and be thought of as a logical thinking individual. Jesus doesn't condone racism. Cut your shit, Ash, and grow up. After working with Garrus and Tali and Wrex your opinion of aliens should've changed.
