Hell Treyarch is putting out patches and updates on a steady stream and yet there are still Famas and ghost assholes.
Well it's no big surprise that Ghost is suddenly a "huge problem" now after they completely removed stopping power.
The ghost-equivalent had usually always been in the same perk slot as stopping-power which almost everyone preferred for how much it increased lethality.
So they removed stopping power, now the "second best" perk takes it's place.
Explosives are so nerfed that Flack-jacket is just not that useful,
Killstreaks are so lame that Hardline is barely worth it
7% faster is so insignificant Lightweight is pointless
3x spare mags means that Scavenger is less useful in Black-op than MW2
To fix Ghost you have to fix the ENTIRE PERK SLOT!
As to FAMAS, well it kills no quicker than the stopping-power weapons in MW2. It's not the FAMAS is too powerful, just all the others are too weak!
Simple solution is to give FAMAS a quicker damage drop-off and a lower-damage of 20 rather than 25. So that the "slow-n-heavy" weapons like AK and Commando have a chance outside close range.
Crazy idea for MW3: bring back stopping-power as an attachment but it cannot be used with warlord. So no silencer, no dot-sight, no grenade launcher, no rapid-fire, no nothing. It's like FMJ but in many ways the opposite, the attachment could be called "soft-point" or "Dum-dum" where echoing real life, there is no penetration and the counter: flack-jacket.
Flack jackets have no effect on pointed-solid bullets but soft-points are slowed down considerably. Flack jacket as well as reducing explosive power also counters stopping power.
Extending this, because soft-points aren't pointed, their damage drops off quicker.
