Poll: Porn. Have you ever been caught with it and how would you react if you caught your kids?

I think my mother caught me watching it atleast once, and I panicked, turned off my monitor, and ran out of the room. I think my dad also caught me watching from his stash (Which I had originally discovered when I was... 3, I believe). When I was 6, I was typing stuff in to the search bar on Google, and I ended up on some questionable websites, which gave me some nasty viruses and internet toolbars, which I asked my parents to get rid of. I never cleared my history, so they noticed a ton of websites that I had been on.

I wouldn't really care if I caught my kid (Who doesn't exist yet).

And I wouldn't make a big deal if I caught my hypothetical kids getting off to porn either.
People have urges, and there's nothing wrong with relieving them.

Never been caught actually viewing it, but my parents once found out while looking through my laptop's history. Now I always delete it after I'm done viewing.

Never been caught =D but as a parent it's basically have them watch porn or have your kids go out and have sex themselves so i'd go with them watching porn as long as it was in private and they were old enough

I know what you're trying to trick me into saying...and I'll say it. I wouldn't want a gay kid. That's the truth. It's a harder life to live, and I wouldn't want it for my kid. If I bring a life into this world, I want it to have every advantage that it can and every opportunity to succeed.

If you want your child to have every advantage and every opportunity to succeed the best thing you can do is be accepting of who they are, if you catch your child looking at gay porn he obviously doesn't need a dad who is judgemental and ill-informed.

Never been caught, but once a few downloads somehow showed up on my desktop. My friend saw them, but I managed to keep my cool and say it was my dad's. I now always check the downloads folder and the desktop after I finish.

As for if I caught my kids at it, I would probably react along the lines of "Whatever, I've been there, just don't get anything on the furniture."

Being 15, I would, as I haven't been caught, have a heart attack. The thought of my parents seeing what I see would be too much >.<

For me it's not really so much as what your watching (provided it's ....er.. "tame") as to what your doing physically >.>

To fairly normal porn sure but since I have doing it...for so long my tastes are, shall we say, unconventional.

I've never been caught. There have been a couple close calls and I think my mom might be abit suspicous but she's never really came out and asked. I'm always really careful though, so I don't think that anyone really suspects anything. And if they do they probably think that I've just looked at some porn once or twice out of curiousity. Heh, I'd say I've done it more than "once or twice" though...

If I catch any of my future kids looking at porn I'd probably be a bit embarassed at the time. I'd probably say something like "I'll come back when you're done." Then I'd have a talk with them later to set all the facts straight and to make sure they don't get any bad ideas from it. I wouldn't really have any problem with them viewing porn so long as there aren't any obvious negative side effects.

Never been caught, but I have had to repair a number of computers from damage done by unprotected porn viewing. Twice I had to fix my dad's computer...

If I ever caught my kids looking at porn I'd get a DNA test immediately because they should be able to keep a secret like that easily if they're actually mine. However, the first time I ever get the sense that my computer is being threatened by somebody else's porn hobby I'm nipping it straight in the bud with a lesson in safe porn.

Watching porn...not really my thing, but my stepdad walked in when I was laughing at a particular video of an incident involving a jar and an anus. All he did was call me morbid and walk out. My friend watches porn whenever he want, he even spoke to his mum about dinner when there was an anal scene playing on the screen...very strange.

If I have kids, and I catch them, I'm not going to care, just go about my day as if it didn't happen.

it's because of prejudice that life is more difficult for homosexuals, if you didn't care as long as your child were happy and everyone else felt the same there would be no problem, so either you are part of the solution or problem.

Ummm...do you really think it would be easy for a gay man to be in an American football locker room or the military? Clearly, men are assholes. We make fun of other guys as a form of bonding and that can sometimes get pretty cruel.

Well in that respect yes, that makes sense. I thought you were trying to say something along the lines that gay guys couldn't do it because of lacking ability.
