Well, assuming I ever have a kid (HA, fat chance!), the first porn he'd probably ever find is the stuff I have stored on my pc! If I caught him lookig at it, well then at least I'd know he's got good taste for one, and would probably throw him a sarcastic one liner before leaving him to it.

Cos you know, if he's anything like me then I'd know exactly what he'd be up to :)

I wasn't caught in the act, it was the waaaaaay aftermath. I'd forgotten to delete some links and they stayed in my URL bar as site suggestions. My dad was going to go to google on my account and as he started typing it out, a porn link popped up. I stood there frozen in fear, hoping that he wouldn't notice. Of course, that hope was shattered as he started reading the name of site aloud.

I was literally about to shit myself when he started laughing and asked if I needed a damp towel. That conversation was as awkward as it sounds.

And no, I wouldn't react badly if my kid was watching porn. It's really no big deal.

Never really been caught looking at porn, damn close though. I did once catch my 8 year old brother googling "cute sexy naked little girls" on the family computer. That was disturbing, and I blame south park and family guy for him discovering it. Would you expect an eight year old to know what a prostitute is for? No.

If I discovered my future children (if I have any) I would try to act like it didn't happen, irrespective of the type of porn he was watching. Age would be a depending factor though.

3 words...

Don't get Caught :)

Although I suppose Don't is a contraction so it's 4 words, but if you are looking for semantics in THIS thread, you are sorely mistaken!

I have been caught once, but I somehow managed to play it off as a pop-up. I don't think my mom believed me though, as I got a talk about how evil porn was later that night.

I don't think I would be too angry if I caught my hypothetical children looking at porn. I know it is normal so why freak out?

I don't look at porn and I don't plan on having kids...

If I saw them looking at porn, I'd most likely be too confused as to where they came from to care about it.
Not to pick on you specifically, but rather use you as an example of the whole, I question why so many people, despite having no relevant thought on a topic, feel the need to COMMENT that the topic posed holds no relevance to them. NOT ALL OF THE INTERNET IS FOR YOU.

If you have nothing, or indeed LESS than nothing, to say in a thread, just leave and look elsewhere for something that you ARE a part of the demographic concerned by the topic.

Now, picking on you specifically AND using you as an example, don't try to be funny when you do this. It does not work.

On topic: I have been caught, it was awkward. My parents tried to keep me off comp. I don't plan on having any kids, but if i did, I'd probably be ok with it. Make sure they werent gonna go around rapin folk or molesting dogs, but otherwise, have at it
Theres a guy with a pinser as his avatar you really need to be saying it to him and only him.

Nope. Never been caught and I plan to keep it that way.

If I caught my kid watching porn, I wouldn't do much. As someone already suggested I'd ask "You know all girls aren't whores, right? Just checking." Then I'd let them carry on. It's natural to be attracted to the opposite or same sex.

I have my own computer in the basement and no one else touches it so I've got porn on the desktop, in my documents, in my bookmarks, in my pictures, in my videos, hell, I'm sure its somehow found its way into my Music folder >.>

EDIT: I don't plan to have kids, but If I had one and I caught him/her with pornography, I'd probably pass the "hand lotion" and shut the door.

Never been caught. If my kids were watching, I'd let them, as long as they keep it subtle and have an understanding that women aren't sex objects and sex itself isn't like that.

My parents never caught me (I'm very quiet) although I have found my dad's porn on my parents computer. It was trash. They gave me "the talk" though, because I have a hot female friend who they thought I might screw. Odd, considering she has a boyfriend. Plus, I don't let sex, or the thought of sex, get in the way of having honest-to-goodness non-sexual fun.
And, if I did have a kid, give them some suggestions, tell them it's not wrong and to not masturbate while we have others over, and give them a mini-lecture on realism, sexual safety, etc. I've just made it my policy to not let anything surprise me or make me feel awkward. I'd do great at gay chicken.

I twice caught my sister watching porn. She quickly closed the tab, but not quick enough for me to not see what she was watching.
I asked what she was watching(like I didn't already know) She said it was nothing. I got a good look at it, and I knew it was porn. But since it wasn't my problem anyway, I moved on and acted like I saw nothing.
A few hours later I went into the room again for some books and caught her again. Again, I acted like I saw nothing and moved on. I haven't caught her since.

As for me, I haven't yet been caught, but there where many close calls when I barely have time kill the browser.

If I have kids, and I caught my kid watching porn, I'd tell him not visit any pay sites, or any free sites that he thinks might have viruses.
And if he does get payed porn, and he used my credit card for it, or my future wifes money, I'll see to it that he'll not only be grounded, but he'll have to pay out of his own pocket the money for it, AND he won't be allowed to watch what he payed for.
I hate it when people take my money without permission. But if he feels the need to waste his own money on porn, He'd better keep it well hidden. Because I doubt my future wife would be pleased that he bought it, even with his own money

If I got caught watching porn, my parents would flip out. It would be a...very bad situation. :/ So that's why (and for the shady business that can surround the porn industry) I don't watch it.
Then again, I live in a pretty sexually repressed/religious environment, so disapproval is kind of a given.

Never caught, I always have a closed door in my room and can pretty easily hear footsteps. Plus everybody knocks in this household.

Downside, my dad's door is always open. I've often walked to the bathroom to see some nice ladies on his screen quickly being minimalized so I saw only an Excell document.
Shit happens.

Never got caught, but was definitely quite close.

I caught my dad doing it so scarred for life here.

If I catch my kids doing it I will act understandingly and explain rather than ***** at them.

i felt those were appropriate...

anyway, i've never been caught (there was a close call a few years ago, but i was concealed by a pillow), and i dont think my parents would be understanding. somehow, porn got brought up into conversation and my dad said something about i had better not have any.

luckily, i don't have any (aside from two images i randomly decided to hide). i view everything online, and usually in incognito in chrome or from sites that dont appear to be porn-related (though they have portions dedicated to it.)

what you need to do is not make a big thing about it, even if you are saying
"its ok"
Dont LET them look at porn all the time
When i first got a phone, my mum found a load of "Stuff" on it
