Never caught (brother was almost caught once, but I agreed with him with a story he came up explaining it and so they believed it).

As for kids, I plan to never have any, so hopefully it's not an issue. However if I somehow ended up with one who I caught looking at porn between 14 and 18, I'd probably just tell them not to use too much, and that real girls are much more fun ;)

...
I probably wouldn't be mad, since libido/sex drive is natural.

If I caught my son watching it, I'd be like "you know all girls who aren't complete whores yes? Just checking."
What she said.
And I'll say, "You know son, they aren't usually that enthusiastic. and it's very rare they bring a mate."

(Yes, that is a joke stolen of a comedian :D)

I'd also tell my daughter, "Darling, don't watch this, You'll only get disappointed."
lol.
Hee, I'd probably something along those lines as well.

Never been caught, as for my kids:

-Remember it's all fake.

-Keep away from the graphic stuff.

-If your going to masturbate, do it privately, specifically when nobody's around.

As for the talk, well I'd have probably already talked to them about it, like, age 10-11.

I don't look at porn and I don't plan on having kids...

If I saw them looking at porn, I'd most likely be too confused as to where they came from to care about it.
Not to pick on you specifically, but rather use you as an example of the whole, I question why so many people, despite having no relevant thought on a topic, feel the need to COMMENT that the topic posed holds no relevance to them. NOT ALL OF THE INTERNET IS FOR YOU.

If you have nothing, or indeed LESS than nothing, to say in a thread, just leave and look elsewhere for something that you ARE a part of the demographic concerned by the topic.

Now, picking on you specifically AND using you as an example, don't try to be funny when you do this. It does not work.

On topic: I have been caught, it was awkward. My parents tried to keep me off comp. I don't plan on having any kids, but if i did, I'd probably be ok with it. Make sure they werent gonna go around rapin folk or molesting dogs, but otherwise, have at it

Talk about sexual repression in this thread...

What is this "talk" you all refer to, in particular detailing how real life is different from pornography...you think porn can be mixed up with reality? Because when you were 16 you didn't realize the girls in your school were not pornstars? really?

Again to those "well if it's 'regular' sex ok but no weird stuff like rape and anime etc.."
Yeah rage at your kids for watching some mock sexual fantasy and take them to therapy - that won't scar them for life at all.

The foundation of today's problems is essentially sexual repression. Look at notably repressed cultures and see what I mean - take for example any country which has decided to ban pornography and pornographic websites due to pseudo-religious constraints like Saudi Arabia...all that bottled up anger needs to vent somewhere.

Have I ever been caught. Ugh.

Heard my step-mother telling some of her friends about some Playboys she found in my dresser (which I had 'borrowed' from my father's stash).

Had a very awkward moment where, years later, I was showing my sister a small side table she was thinking about using in her apartment. She opened one of the drawers and there was the copy of Jenna Loves Brianna that I had completely forgotten I'd hidden. It felt like ten minutes went by before we closed the drawer and moved on to something else. I don't think she ended up taking the table.

I wouldn't care if I caught my kids (if I have any) with it, as long as they don't steal a credit card and run me into debt to get it.

Depends on the porn... I'd have a problem if I caught my kid looking at CP, yiffy, or that furry shit. Other than that it's normal for most if not all people/

I'd be understanding but I'd probably explode with neuroticism and try to form a sentence to explain things nicely and concisely but will instead babble half words for about a minute and then try to back out of the room, bumping into everything on the way out.

I've never been caught, although it has gotten rediculously close at times. Ironically, and incredibly awkwardly, I have caught my dad watching it multiple times. Those scars do not heal.
You caught your dad watching porn?

I caught my parents having sex when I was 9.

I'd just tell him to find a more indiscreet place to do it in the future.
You mean the opposite of that, in this hypothetical scenario you only know about his porn watching because he's picked an indiscreet place to watch/look at it. Discreet is the word you're looking for.

But of the 386 videos, there were probably only 20 that were not trannies... and of those they were lesbos!
The massive collection of transsexual porn... says a lot, heh, but the lesbian stuff? Not so much really - the primary audience of girl on girl porn is almost invariably straight men. Apparently the reasoning goes "I like women, so more of them at once is even better!", and it's a nearly universal guy trait - we like watching women going at it with each other (but generally find the notion of watching the inverse completely disgusting).

So if you'd found nothing but lesbians in his porn stash, that wouldn't really tell you anything at all about his sexuality apart from "he thinks women are awesome, especially when naked", which is hardly any great revelation. Knowledge is power!

Haha I wouldn't care and my parents don't give a shit about my brother and myself either.

We're a pretty care-free, open family =D

LUCKY.

My parents are against living happy, so I use clever methods of hiding my porn...

WHICH I WILL NOT SHARE THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

If I caught my kids I 'll shrug it off. if they don't know that I caught them I wouldn't tell them. one of the joys of watching porn is that no one knows you do.

Well if you count your Dad buying you a Playboy as being caught, then yes. But they've never walked in on me or found it.

Personally, I would probably help my kids get porn, and if I walked in on them, I would say "Oh, continue on then" and leave the room.

Not actually caught in the act...no. However my parents did wonder why there was a few extra charges on the cable bill on the night I had about half a dozen of my friends sleep over. God I think I was like 15 or so... Penthouse channel FTW.

And I wouldn't react badly if I caught my kid. Like the OP said, it's natural and teenagers are gong to be curious. I'd only get concerned if it became a serious problem or something.

Who here would borrow their kids porn?
I would.
If only to prevent them from getting to the soul scarring filth the internet sometimes offers.

A topic i'm sure has been done to death, but i got curious. Have you ever been caught looking at porn or had your parents discover porn on your laptop / tv / other? I have once long ago. My mum reacted badly to it despite me being 16 years old and using the 'at least i'm looking at naked ladies and not reasoning. This was probably due to her growing up in a very repressed period where sex and whatnot as all viewed as evil / sinful / whatever, as my parents even now cringe whenever sex is on TV in a movie or TV show or something and it's still a very taboo subject for them. However as i'm pretty much an adult myself being close to 20 now, i reflected on that and thought that i wouldn't get mad at my kids if i found they'd been looking at pornographic material - it's perfectly normal during puberty, right? As long as it wasn't illegal stuff and they were discreet about it, i don't see much of a problem with it, although i'd probably have 'that talk' with them about it.

How would you react if you caught your kids with porn - badly or understandingly?
Have you ever been caught with porn? How did your parents react?

The age i'm talking about here is roughly 14-18 for argument's sake.
My disapproval is reserved for people who are repressed religious lunatics. Porn/Masturbation is perfectly normal and fine by me. What is this? The Victorian era?
