Im sure you don't want your parents hanging over your shoulder but perhaps somewhere they can see you from?
Good Idea, A cafe or somewhere, with parents on a different table.

i've been in this exact senario before. i'd wait. at 15 emotions are more intense so feelings of amor and all tend to be highly lighted in a rose colored filter. if he really is into you he'll wait. if not, plenty of fish in the sea.

I almost know he's not a pedo, but I think it might just be a case of that's just what I want to believe.

Interesting thread, but you have to ask yourself before you read through all those replies....is he really worth it? Plenty of fish in the pond and all that when you're 16. No need to spend all that money on a risk until you are, oh 65 and looking for one last chance at a cheesy romcom style love.

Don't be stupid. I like this girl I met on XBL, but I would never go out of my way to go see her. What could you possibly gain from this?

He refuses to speak on XBL or even show his face on webcam because of his accent? That sounds extremely suspicious to me. Unless you can get more information from this guy, and have a conversation with him on camera so you know he is who he says he is, don't bother.

I have been talking to a boy a year older than me from Norway. We've been talking for 3 years now.
I met him online on a game called Puzzle pirates, I have him on facebook and msn so I've seen pictures of him. He refuses to go on web cam and speak on XBL because of his accent. I've wanted to go to Norway for a long time before I knew him. So when I finally go there should I meet him with my parents, or wait 10/15 years so if he's a paedophile he'll be about 60 and I'll be 25 so I can fight him off? I'm 14 nearly 15 and he's nearly 16.
ha this here is homw people

I say go for it. But don't tell your parents, they won't understand-- you should sneak away to meet him at a private location of his choosing. Obviously he's a trustworthy and friendly person or you wouldn't even be considering this let alone talk to him for 3 years, so there's very little risk involved.
This is how people get raped

INSIST on a webcam correspondence, then see how things go from there. No webcam, no meet.

You don't need to meet someone to do that. Especially go to another country. I am good friends with the girl I met and I have never seen her in person and I probably never will.

You got yourself a class A pedophile there. One who keeps trying for 3 years is the really dangerous kind.

wait till u get older. buy a gun. go meat him. if he is a pedo shoot him in the dick. problem solved.
Eric Cartman would approve of you shooting dudes in the dick. It's not cool. lol

OT: Tough call. I'd say at least get a live video or something so you know this whole story is legit or have him send a current picture (like him holding today's paper or some shit). Get some proof that he ain't faking. For the most part, however, it sounds like he's legit. So either get proof or just go with your parents so if things go bad, they'll be there to help you. Either way, should be good.

Yea, because sarcasm helps in every situation. Seriously, I've done this exact same thing with no international boundary and the genders reversed. We even spoke for about 3 years beforehand. IT WENT FINE.

I'd just inform your parents of what you're doing. I did.
The gender thing is actually a pretty crucial difference.
Why? Because women can't be sex offenders?
little boy, woman thing does happen more often than you think
women luring little girls though? never heard of that, and i dont know why exactly
