If developers want to stick nudity in a game then why shouldn't they be able to? As long as it isn't the main selling point (unless it's an ecchi/hentai game, in which case it's only to be expected), then why should it matter? Films and TV sometimes have nudity and sex scenes, and people are fine with that. Why shouldn't gaming be treated the same way, huh?

Yes, I don't see whats wrong with it, and it's been in games since way back.

Although I think the, "Titties FTW!" part in the poll is un-necessary because that's not always the reason, and that's not why I would play a game if it had nudity.

the first game i ever saw tits in was afro samurai, then almost every m rated game i played from thereafter. now i know theres been partial nudity before, but its only been in the recent year or two that ive actually seen full blown nudity. Now i dont have a problem with it, but its weird that people dont really get pissed at this, but they do get pissed at things that are less severe. what do you think?
why are you wondering weather it's OK for nudity to be in video games it's fine in movies and I think it should be fine in games also I thought that the media and especially fox 'news' wants to ban any popular game that has nudity

I played Dragonball: Origins (Read it, Dragon-BALL Origins) and the first thing that struck me in this game is that on several occasions you will see Goku's Genitals. Heck this is Kid Goku as well. It's rather distracting. Also, it's only rated 12+ (T for Teen).

Calumon: I kinda... don't do any of this. I'm gonna play Digimon World, where Clothes stay on people.

It depends really.

Nudity has been used and can be used for a number of things, expression of the human form, making a statement, making for a sudden change of pace these are some of the good things fiction can do with nudity. On the other hand nudity can be exploitative, annoying and pointless.

I recall playing a demo fo the game "Prey" wherein you'd occasionally come across a naked, live human on the ground babbling incomprehensibly and holding themselves in the fetal position, the nudity symbolized the fact that they literally had nothing left and were ultimately powerless.

In Duke Nukem 3D pixelised titties were common, not for any real reason, just for the pleasure of the "Hardcore" audience that game about a 'roid inducing badass packing more heat than the armed forces taking on aliens was appealing to. It was a pretty good game though.

The only problem I have with nudity is that it means that I feel awkward playing it when there is anybody else in the house.

In the US nudity seems to be an easy target for law makers when it comes to video game. Although, I would agree that current movies can show more sexual activity and nudity than a video game it is because of who it perceived to target. Everyone, here in the states, seems hell-bent on keeping the children protected. No it does not makes sense to someone that plays games, but it is real. This issue came up when the AO rating was created. It is basically a scarlet letter on your head if you get that rating. BTW AO is an ESRB rating for adults only. NO major distribution chain will sell these games. Although, they will sell the unrated versions of movies, and unrated versions sell better than their edited counterparts.

In the US. this issue is more about money and laws than anything else.

Since it was ok in movies. It was ok in movies when it was ok in books and it was ok in books when it was okay in the real world.

So yes. Nudity is as natural as homosexuality amongst animals. And it should be accepted in all forms of enteertainment.

Since the moment it was perfectly fine to murder my way through a game. Last time I checked, brutal massacres, even when deserved, generally rank below nudity in terms of social acceptance.

The only time i don't like nudity is when it serves no other purpose then fan service.

I have this issue with movies to. Whenever a movie that isn't porn classifies itself as "Sexy" i tend to write it off as shit.

It has almost always been correct in discriminating the good from the bad for me.

Because pixilated titties sell.
Shit that messed me up when i was younger. I thought the tassels were the woman's nipples. So for the next few years i thought woman had long orange nipples. Yes, it is funny thinking about it.

I dont know why it isnt ok really.

I mean, what are kids gonna do when they see boobs on a video game? They're gonna rape someone?

I think nudity in games is good, I am glad that society is getting a more open eye to the thing. sex scenes in movies has been for decades, in literature it's ancient, same with illustrations such as statues and paintings. why not games?

Are games not art like all other kinds? and isn't nudity in art a part of whats natural?
showing humans as humans. you could say Titties FTW, or you could say: yay, people are ready to understand that sex is as natural as eating, or sleeping. it's an instict.

HUMANS LIKE SEX! end of story.
let them play with the idea or themselves for that matter.
just keep the games M-rated and I'm happy.
