Seriously I have the same problem. Almost every guy who plays games at my school says COD is the best game ever and nothing can replace it. I honestly hate the game. And every time I try to say a game is better they instantly say no its not. I highly doubt COD is better then Portal but that's what they think.

Any gamer worth their salt instinctively knows that CoD is a slightly above average shooter at best, and is by no stretch of the word perfect. In fact, the closest a game has ever gotten to perfect is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Also, if anyone disses the Orange Box, you are legally allowed to slap them. Valve is awesome, and everyone knows it. Sure they take half a human lifetime to get games out, but look at the quality.

OK I made the mistake in the message when I said it isn't art I meant it's bad art which I actually said in the argument and when he says it's art he says it's good art which I think both of us can agree it's not also his argument is more flawed then the realism in CoD modern warfare 2.

Well, in my opinion, the games are usually well made, they look good, they work. But I can usually finish them once, not play the multiplayer, and just forget about them. Well, except CoD2. Damn, that one was fun.

Now, I apologise for not being the best detector of sarcasm through the internet, but are you saying the those three games are good (in my opinion, they are), or bad (which is a completely understandable stance when backed up with reasons)?

We'll they were decent enough games, but no body played them for a reason, There was never a time when everyone was on the quake wars bandwagon. I'm just saying all this cod bashing should be reserved for the games that crashed and burned, because they genuinely sucked, like men of valor, or what have you. the only thing I can really think of that is wrong with COD is the genericness in its story lines and being not all that progressive. But it plays well, gives me a reason to keep playing Ie earning money, and for all the weapon combos is decently balanced. I mean had it been old school and had weapons on map and health kits that would be laughable but cmon it isn't a bad game.
