Mostly I swear whenever something frustrates me I'll just say one swear word and that will be the end of it, then I swear a lot in games when something startles me. I remember on I think it was Fallout 3 where I was killing Deathclaws I thought I killed them all, I turn my back and I was like OMFG WTF is that!!! *Deathclaw strikes*

Profanity is interesting. Back in the olden days people came up with "White Meat" and "Dark Meat" just so they could avoid saying 'breast'. Now we say it openly and aren't ashamed. The more it's used, the less power the word has to offend. Take 'fuck', no one bats an eye that much over it nowadays. But when Lenny Bruce used it he was tossed into jail.

Our modern component would be '******', which is immensely stupid because our nonusage of the word gives it more and more power. If everyone said '******' three times a day then it would lose it's cutting edge and would eventually die off.

yet do not swear myself. Yup i never swear. for complicated reasons.

I'm Surrounded by people all the time who swear from my friends ot strangers to my family yet I myself don't.

I used to swear a lot when I was younger but in later years my use of swear words had declined a bit. My grandfather used to swear all the time so I learned some colorful words from him.

I occassionally swear on the internet, usually if emphasizing extreme surprise or frustration. If I ever swear in real life, it is either very abrupt (out of surprise), muted (lip movements only), or under my breath.
