Sonic. I was never a big fan of the series even when it was 'good' (I'm quoting a fan I know) because I hated the ring system and that has not changed, plus Sonic is so soft even a risky move that guarantees getting hit can screw you over. After that it would be Mario Bros because it uses the lives and timer systems (not timer systems in general, don't get me wrong), both of which I hate when they serve no useful purpose outside of arcades. Next up is Zelda due to my skepticism of me knowing how to get the damn silver arrows without my friend telling me as well as the occasional off-screen enemy shooting me out of nowhere. After that Final Fantasy 7 for encouraging the notorious better animated cut-scenes and some bits feeling artificially lengthened as well as requiring to use the submarine since that made me run into Emerald Weapon way too often. So yeah, by process of elemination Half-Life 2 is the least worst game on that list in my opinion. Sonic is the only game on there I can't find anything really redeeming about, but I'm sure a fan of the series can help me out on that.
