Live : You have to pay to go onlineminxamo said:I don't get what people mean when they say this, what accessories do you need to buy?geon106 said:I do like the 360 don't get me wrong, but theres so many extras you have to buy for it and it's just not a good experience. The only thing i like is more people are on Live compared to PSN
A gaming laptop? Meh, I don't know much about laptops because I really hate those touchpads and I can never find a flat surface for a mouse, and using it at home would be stupid because laptops are made for travel. A full-blown gaming CPU would give you a wide variety of games as well as good internet gaming, it would just cost the most out of all the other choices.Kris015 said:i use laptop... my computer is fully upgraded..MaskedMori said:Upgrading your computer would be for the best quality, pricey though.
i wholeheartedly agree with you sir, especially on the pc part, pc is okay for gaming but jesus christ the bugs and upgrades are ridiculous, especially on installation and the MMO'sBofore13 said:I prefer the 360 the gold may cost extra but it is a stronger network than PSN also the 360 has way more exclusive and actually good games and is better for getting friends together to play something, the biggest problem is the 16% death rate that it faces you have a 1 in 7 chance of getting one that will die in a year or less.
Wii is fun but no online elements at all, and is a non-stop waggle fest a few worthwhile games Zelda, Metroid, and so on in that order until you get to Excite Truck.
PS3 great system but sony needs to step up with game quality really only about ten really worthwhile games on this one.
PSP sucks completely just graphics to go really.
DS general awesome but nobody will take you seriously unless they know what they are talking about which they probably don't.
PC meh not really good for games too buggy most of the time and you have to wait for patches to fix the problems that are not on the console versions also it feels like you have this vast hole where your money used to be if you go with this one mostly because you will. Best for MMOs but those too are wallet vampires.
i have all six so I know from much exp points.
Yeah, and then compare the game libraries. I think your fanboy denial is showing, because while PS3 vs 360 is still relatively debatable, PS2 vs Xbox is a hands down PS2 win in about 1900 ways, and no that is not debatable. I mean seriously "too awesome for the general population to take in at once?" Yeah, because obviously only a select few XboxFredrick2003 said:Xbox 360 is the way to go this generation.
Xbox was the way to go the previous generation as well but I guess it was just too awesome for the general population to take in at once (seriously, compare Xbox and Playstation 2 online support).
Out of curiosity... Why? What Xbox games aren't already on the PC (and mouse + keyboard > controller)? Plus they're not that old...likalaruku said:PC is my console.
But I'm thinking of getting an X-box just to play really old-school games.
Cuz I can't find the original Zelda, the first 6 Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Phantasy Star 3 & 4, Warcraft 1 & 2, Ultima 7-9, Elder Scrolls Daggerfall/Battlespire/Redguard, & Goldeneye. If I can, they're on virus-laiden sites or are a menacing b**ch to try to get to run.Irishhoodlum said:Out of curiosity... Why?
