Just wondering what you would do. You happen to come across a folded 10 dollar bill on the floor. What would you do?

I came across 10 dollars on the floor at work the other day and i turned it in to one of the managers at work because it wasn't mine. I saw nobody near where i found the money and nobody saw me pick it up. I could have easily kept it and walked away but i just decided to turn it in.

What would you do?

Edit- well im starting too feel like my conscious is a bad thing to have. Oddly enough in games where you make moral choices i rarely make the bad choice because it makes me uncomfortable to do so. Fable two is the only pure evil character ive done and that made the game boring -_-

Pick it up, walk away.

If somebody comes and says they dropped it, depending on who it is I give it back to 'em.

If I see somebody dropped the money, depending on who it is, I'll try and return it to them. If they walk away too fast, however, it's mine now.

Money's money.

Every time I find money, I keep it.

Recently found 300 dollars in the street.

I saw it as "The universe is sending me a nice little birthday present" ^-^

I would keep it. If it was something like a thousand dollars I would have thought about returning it buy still took it.

I would first ask someone if they lost a ten dollar bill, and laugh when they will automatically say yes and call them selfish.

I would normally keep it, the exception being at work. $10 is not worth potentially maybe possibly losing a job.

Its ten dollars. No one is going to miss it that badly. Keep it.

Though you were at work, so probably best to turn it in and get honesty points with the higher-ups. Had you just been out and about, then keep it.

Pick it up and turn it in - Hey, I get 5 Light Side, Paragon, Hero points for that ^___^

Oh.. In Real Life?

Leave it - Dont wanna take the risk that someone sneezed in it or rubbed it somewhere and wants to laugh at whoever picks it up.

Keep it unless you see the person who dropped it >.< Seriously if you go up to anyone like "is this your 100$ bill?" there is a 99.99% chance they will reply "fuck yes, thanks, i totally dropped that". You just gave your managers 10$ dude. Its not like they're gonna pursue finding who owns it.

If I just saw $10 lying on the sidewalk with no-one looking for it or even sifting through their bag nearby where it might have fallen out. I'd probably just keep it. I mean, if you hold it up and ask 'did anyone just lose $10', someone will certainly claim it, whether or not it's actually theirs. I'd probably feel guilty about it afterward though =P *damn conscience*

Many things one can buy with 10 dollars... So I would keep it...

Even though it may haunt me forever...

Or... I could pick it up and donate it to something...

...Weird my mom lost 300 dollars in the street.

I saw it as the universe saying, "Fuck you!"

OT: I'd pick it up. MINE NOW!

But the problem for the out of work scenario would be, who would you turn it in to? The police would just laugh that off (I know from personal experience, as I too was once a good, whole-hearted person). Maybe at a restaurant or some place like that you could turn it into the manager, but if I find $10 on the ground in a restaurant, I just found tip money.

My conscious would bother me thats good enough reason for me and i would feel like i had stolen from somebody.
