Halo3, Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead (seriously, L4D is enough of a reason by ITSELF), Mass Effect, Saints Row 2, Splinter Cell, Fallout 3 (came to PS3 later) and all sequels within those franchises. (these are not all, but a short list off the top of my head)omega 616 said:What are these games? I have just looked down the list of xbox exclusives (although some were shared with the pc)and I think none of them are "WOW, I wish I had a 360 for them games" with maybe the exception of GoW and halo series. It's a genuine question, what are these games you want to play NOW, that you can't get on another system?danpascooch said:The PS3 probably does have better hardware in some respects, and everyone keeps saying the PS3 is the choice for those looking ahead to the future, but no matter how good hardware is, 360 has the games I really want to play, now, and since when has a domineering trait in gamers ever been patience?
As a psycho ADD guy, I can officially say:
SCREW PATIENCE!
Plus, if the PS3 waits too much longer to start tapping into their potential, companies will lose interest and won't be there to make games for them when Sony finally decides to go for broke.
I am not bashing the PS3, but I do like the 360 better, I see a ton of potential in the PS3, but not if Sony keeps up its "admit no fault, wait indefinitely" business strategy it seems to have employed.
Like you, I am not bashing the 360, sometimes I come across the wrong way (it's a curse). I like to break everything down into it's simplest form.
I have had a playstation since I can remember from psx to ps3 but before I bought a ps3 I read about which was going to be better, in the short term the 360 was cheaper and had better games but in the long run the ps3 is alot cheaper and will have better games.
I think it just takes awhile for playstations to gain momentum, they start out a little sluggish but slowly they start turning out better and better games.
So, if the ps3 has better hardware, it will be able to go above and beyond the 360, am I right?
Some of those may have got to the PS3 later, but again, I am about the now, and yes, the PS3 probably has the potential to kick the 360's ass, but Sony is not utilizing that potential properly, and if they don't do it soon, companies will lose interest and they will NEVER get the opportunity to utilize its full potential.
The PS3 is sound, it's the guy holding its leash that's the problem.
And that is why I like the 360 better.
(Little known fact: I actually HAVE a PS3, but unfortunatly it's just been collecting dust since MGS4 came out, I was holding out for Final Fantasy, but it looks like that's also coming to the 360 now, so I am probably gonna sell my PS3 soon)
Also, I HATE the PS3 slim, it's smaller and a bit cheaper, but at the cost of ALL of those great PS 1 & 2 games? I don't think so, I loved PS2 and PS1
