Well I for one enjoy games a week/month/year late, hell I even downloaded SS2 and Silen Hill 2 a week ago to play those for the first time, because I believe a good gaming experience is something that persists time.danpascooch said:

to me personally, the xbox 360 fits perfectly me in my hands, especially the joysticks and triggers, the ps controller (lets face it, hasn't changed much) i've always had a problem with the handles and the joysticks, i have to bend my thumbs and causes movements that i didn't quite exactly wants, especially the convex thumbs instead of concave like the 360 thumbs.Con Carne said:

Then again, if you really wanna play a variety of good exclusives go with the PS3. In all seriousness I can't think of any 360 exclusives to recommend most of the time other than Halo 3 since it is the only one I played.
If paying for online is really that big a problem with you then get the PS3.
Also you might want to get the 360 if you don't have patience for the PS3's sluggishness, by that I mean having to inatall crap and tons of updates for every game that takes forever. Also believe me when I say that the PS3 cna really fuck up in framerate and loading, especially in Killzone 2.
Bottomline, you should be able to pick yourself, especially since you didn't provide that much information.

360, because it's the only one I have. I love it but I only use it for singleplayer games and casual stuff. Online stays on my PC.

Well most of the good games are on both, but if you don't like the 360 controller or FPS games I would say ps3. I have both and I prefer the xbox, but that's mainly because I love xbox live and i hate the L2 and R2 buttons on the ps3 controller. Plus there's a lot of little annoying quirks to PSN because every game is in charge of their own online services and such. However i think the exclusives for the ps3 are slightly better if not less generic than the xbox ones.
For christmas i was given the choice of xbox360 or a ps3. And simply at the time xbox was cheaper and had more games that appealed to me (which my dad could buy more of since he would spend less money on the console, i thought that one through really well id say =p) and of course the deal sealer that the majority of my friends had one.
im was and still am happy with my choice but if i was asked if i wanted a ps3 as well id woudlnt say no.

I don't like my Xbox 360 because of the following: Its hardware is crap (as I mentioned already), the controller is uncomfortable and bulky (imo, compared to the playstation controller), the exclusives aren't that great (imo), Having to pay for online multiplayer sucks, not having built in wi-fi and making customers pay $100 for it, how loud it is, and possibly some other reasons.
I like my PS3 (slim) for the following reasons: Its quiet, I like the interface, blu-ray, I like the controller, the exclusives (Uncharted anyone?) free internet, built in wi-fi, and paying less for it overall than my Xbox 360 + internet, among other things.
I dislike having to plug the controller in to charge it though, since the PS3 has to be on to do that. You can still play games while its plugged in though, and it'll charge pretty quickly ;P. And then there's the fact that the Xbox controller doesn't even Have built in recharge ability, which means ANOTHER thing you gotta pay for...
I regret buying an Xbox 360. A lot. Its just sitting now. Bet it'll RRoD when I go play Modern Warfare 2 on it. Not that it'll matter since I have to choose between Xbox Live Gold or Borderlands... glad I only rented Modern Warfare 2....
