I only ever ragequit out of single-player games.
I would never be so churlish as to deny someone a victory in multiplayer.

Like before. Modern Warfare 2 is a good excuse.El Poncho said:Not in a one on one, maybe if I'm being completely owned in a game of MW2 and i'm not going to get any better, but one of my friends have a dial-up connection so when we were playing search and destroy it was only him left and my other friend phoned him![]()
There's mechs in that game!? And in multiplayer? Vehicles in Online multiplayer rarely works.squid5580 said:The only game I have ever rage quit was FEAR 2 mp. And only on the mech maps. Simply because every match went down the exact same way. The 2 mechs would meet at CP 3. Battle it out and the winner would then spawn camp in the mech at CP 2 or 4 until the losing team gave up and let them win or time ran out. One thing though I would quit even if it was my team that was doing the spawn killing.
Ya the mechs are only on the CP maps. And it stinks. You can take the mech anywhere important and since you always spawn at one of your cps it made spawn killing far to easy. Especially when the heavy weapons are in the middle of the map and mechs regen health. And can kill anyone with a couple shots.Aura Guardian said:There's mechs in that game!? And in multiplayer? I didn't know they did that, but I like it. It immediately makes me think of some old games that did that. I think Quake would taunt you for trying to quit as well. Also, did Duke Nukem 3D do that? Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with developers doing that if you quit an online match.Double A said:Because you already pulled the "5 more minutes" thing on your parents?m_jim said:But if you had to go somewhere, why would not being able to play for 5 minutes be a problem?Double A said:I don't ragequit, but I do quit if the match is hopelessly in the enemy's favor, like the other day I was playing the Bad Company 2 demo, my team was about as useful as an autistic kid with a super soaker.
That is rather annoying though when you actually have to quit to go somewhere and can't play for 5 more minutes.Eldritch Warlord said:I never ragequit. It is dishonorable.
In fact in Halo 3 if you decide to quit you'll get a message saying something like:
Do you really want to quit?
B- No, I will finish with honor
A- Yes, I am a coward!

They are in the SP campaign as well. They make you a god for the short amount of time you get them. The only way to possibly die is if you don't have two opposable thumbs. They are limited in SP though. You can't take them through the whole game.
They don't even give you a couple seconds of invincibility let alone protected spawn points. The mp was tacked on for the most part. And then they give you an achievement to get a million xp in online matches. At 1 xp per kill.Aura Guardian said:What happened to protected spawn points?squid5580 said:Ya the mechs are only on the CP maps. And it stinks. You start as survivors, win, and the enemy team ragequits when they're survivors.
I've never ragequitted in my life.
I'd have to slap myself on principle if I did.
