As a 360 owner, I am mildly excited. As a survivor of a million flame wars, I am unmoved. Sony fanboys need to stop complaining, and 360 fanboys need to get over themselves. However, I need to place more stress on the PS3 users to stop complaining.
It is not Microsoft's fault that Sony doesn't put the same effort into gaming. They released a superior system, yes, but they have not done much to utilize its capabilities, whereas Microsoft is constantly making an effort to improve upon its system or to at least push its limits.
For all the people crying "monopoly," go read "the Octopus," the fictional tale based on train monopolies in California, THAT is how a monopoly is done. All the best monopolies have violent conflict and sheep getting hit by trains.
